Amazon Series-King of the Hitani (Part five) Strange World Having escaped the Amazon village, Mog, Geb, Rigal and Chad began making their way through the forest. The only light was that of the full moon. They could hear nothing but the distant sounds of wild animals. There was no time to stop and sleep, they had to get as far away from the Amazon village as they could before stopping to rest. When daybreak finally came they could see that they had traveled a great distance during the night. The surroundings were unfamiliar. There were high mountains in the distance, beyond were unknown lands. The foursome soon came to a river and began to follow it upstream, the water was cool and fresh, they stopped to bath for a while, the cool water felt good to relax in following the ordeal of the past few days. "Is anyone sure of the direction of our village" asked Geb. "To the south" answered Chad, "It will be faster to go over the mountains then around them" They continued to walk upstream at a steady pace. Then, off in the distance they could hear a different sound; they could see up river what appeared to be strange looking beasts coming toward them. Soon when the beasts came into view they could see that they were horses up ahead and people were riding them, but were they Hitani or Amazons riding the horses in the distance. As the horses drew nearer the four warriors could see that there were five horses and appeared to be ridden by men, "They must be Hitani" Mog exclaimed "were saved, we will ride back to our village". But then as the horsemen came into clear view to the horror of the four all of them, they could see that a woman rode the fifth horse. All four warriors had the same thought these people were neither Hitani nor Amazon, who could they be. The four warriors had no weapons so they began to run away from the rivers edge and into the forest, but the horsemen followed close behind. The horsemen began twirling lassoes around, and as the caught up with the four fleeing young men, caught them in their ropes, which tightened around the chests and made each man fall to the ground in a sudden thud. Each horseman having now captured one of the four young warriors each, dismounted his horse and bound his prisoner by the wrists and ankles and tied them like baggage to the backs of the horses. The one woman on horseback merly watched with a stern expression on her face as the horsemen remounted the horses with their captives securely tied down, they began to gallop to someplace neither Mog nor Geb or the others could imagine. The four were taken on horseback along the edge of the river for most of the day; "These were strange people indeed," thought Geb. The men wore loin clothes the way Hitani and Amazon women sometimes do, "Why would a man place a woman's cloth on himself?" he thought, "men do not bleed like women do, what purpose does it serve" And the men also had strange colors around their necks as well. None of them had encountered such people before; they must be the tribe that lives beyond the great mountains that they had only heard about in legend. They soon came upon a great walled city and rode through the city gates. The people inside all seemed very strange indeed. All the men wore the strange clothes and many of the women wore clothes of strange shiny, brightly colored material, white, red, yellow and blue. Soon the horsemen separated and took each prisoner off in a different direction. Geb feared he would not see the others again. Soon the horseman carrying Geb stopped at a place by the city wall where there was a small doorway. He was taken off the horse and led through the doorway. A beautiful young woman stood inside the doorway as Geb was led in. She placed a collar around Geb's neck similar to the one's the four horsemen wore. Then wide leather bands around his wrists and ankles and connected all four bands with lengths of heavy chain. The woman led Geb down a step stairwell. Burning torches lit the dark passage, there was a musty smell in the air, the stone walls were damp, and they then came into a room with a mud floor and even more dimly lit then the stairwell. There were large metal rings attached to the walls. The woman took Geb's wrists and ankles and fastened them to the metal rings on the walls. A man the entered the room and bowed down to the young woman averting eye contact with her. He then lifted a long wide leather belt and began lashing Geb on the buttocks. "Who is your mistress" the woman demanded "how did you escape" Geb could not answer as he did not understand the questions. The strange man continued to whip Geb bringing out welts on his skin. Geb tried to be brave and not show that he was in pain. "These people are much like Amazons" Geb thought, "The woman rule the kingdom and men are mere slaves" The woman continued to ask strange questions of Geb and the man behind him continued to lash him with the belt, the pain soon became unbearable. Geb began to cry, "Please, no more, I can't take it" he pleaded. "Do you not wish to be a slave?" the woman asked. Geb fell silent; he did not know how to respond to such a strange question. The man who had been whipping him stepped forward and whispered in Geb's ear "You know you can have your freedom at any time, you may be too young to understand but slaves who chose freedom are regarded as cowards and have no honor, Is this what you want?" "I will defend my honor wherever I go," exclaimed Geb. "Then tell me who your mistress is" demanded the woman. "I have no mistress, I come from beyond the mountains, I know nothing of your kingdom" Geb relied. "Then you are a barbarian, and should be dealt with as such" replied the woman. She ordered the man with the whip to release Geb from the wall; Geb was relieved but feared what was in store for him next. "What is the strange metal ring in your foreskin" the woman asked,"It is my chastity ring Geb replied" the woman smiled " so this is how the barbarians ensure the chastity of their slaves" The woman said while looking down at the large bronze ring. "I am not a slave" Geb demanded. The woman turned to the man with the whipping belt and told him to fetch the chain cutters, he bowed and replied "yes mistress". He walked over to a shelf on the far wall and brought a tool similar to what the Hitani chiefs' use for removing the chastity rings from young warriors. The man used it to remove Gebs chastity ring; he then began to slide the ring out. When the sharp cut edges of the ring passed through Gees foreskin the pain was so intense Geb began to shake at the knees and clenched his fists but tried not to show any sign of discomfort. The woman picked up a strange looking object made of leather and metal rings and clips and began to place it around Gees waist, then wrapped a cup shaped belt under his groin and fastened it at the back. Then a small mechanical device like the ones the Amazons use on door handles to keep others from opening them was put through two metal rings sewn into the leather. Then something the Amazons called a key was used to secure it in place. Geb was then led up the stairs and into another room and the door was locked behind him. He could hear the woman say to the man as they walked away " we shall sell him at the slave auction in three days. Train him well in the mean time" "yes mistress" the man replied "do you think he is best suited as a sex slave or a laborer" The man asked "It doesn't matter, whatever you think" she said.
