Woman makes unique purses

GLENPOOL, Okia. —Heather Joy thinks she’s found a way to a cowgirl’s 
heart. She makes hand-crafted bags from bufl scrotums.

The cost of each of her True Cowgirl’s Purses de-pends 
on whether the bag is personalized, hand-dyed or is adorned 
with silver or brass. The bags start at $110.

The raw material is hard to come by, she said, be-cause there aren’t 
that many processing plants in the area that handle bull scrotums.

“I have to wait three months to get a dozen,” Joy said Tuesday.
