As time went on, Terri grew older and came to be known as Lady Terri around the property. Her sisters all moved on to their own domain, and Lady Terri assumed responsibility for the house along with her mother, Mistress Darlene. Mistress Darlene was older now, and was slowing down a bit. She wasnt as active as before, yet she still maintained her superior presence to all of her slaves. Although older and more mellow, the slaves still knew not to cross Mistress Darlene, because she could have a slave punished at the snap of her finger. By this time, the slave stable dwindled down to just a few house slaves. Over the years, the need to raise money caused Mistress Darlene to sell slaves every so often. A gelded slave was worth more money than an intact one, so she tended to sell the gelded slaves first. Over the years, the family inheritance had been used to maintain the property, and Mistress Darlene had gone through most of it raising her daughters and on her own personal expenditures. When Lady Terri was old enough and was ready to assume control of all property, Mistress Darlene explained that she would have to make the best use of her resources, motivate her slaves to produce more, and be ready to run the property with an iron fist like she used to in her younger days. Lady Terri was more than ready to take over, as she had been looking forward to this day since she was young and first realized what male slavery was all about. When she was young, Lady Terri was apprehensive about owning slaves and being indifferent to their plight. But Mistress Darlene knew the day would come when Lady Terri would take over, so she conditioned her daughter to accept the fact that these males were simply pieces of property. She conditioned Lady Terri to be unmoved at the sight of a suffering slave. She did this by a couple of methods. Usually she would make up a false accusation against the slave and tell Lady Terri about it. Lady Terri would be shocked and disgusted, so Mistress Darlene would capitalize on this and explain that slaves couldnt be trusted. On the way outside, they would pass through the barn where they would get the whip and a long length of rope. Then, they would go out together and find some unsuspecting slave and summon him to their feet. The slave would run and kneel before them, eyed bowed, and they would order him to confess what he did. Invariably, the slave would not know what they were talking about, so Mistress Darlene used this as an example of insolence, and ordered the slave punished. Several other slaves came forward to bind the subject, then he would be hung up to await his punishment. As part of the conditioning, Mistress Darlene would have Lady Terri do the whipping. She figured if she could whip a slave while he is screaming and crying, she would build the confidence to run the property. Lady Terri developed her own methods, though. After the slave was hung and secured, she would yank off his loincloth and have his legs spread wide with a spreader. Then, she would give the slave a sharp kick in the balls to start the punishment. When Mistress Darlene first saw this, she asked why. Lady Terri told her that this breaks the slave down so he wont squirm as much during the whipping. Plus, she said, it adds more to the slaves pain and suffering, thus creating more of an effect during the punishment. Mistress Darlene did not say a word, but she knew she had done well conditioning her daughter. She also saw a side to her which she hadnt expected. Lady Terri actually enjoyed administering pain to her subjects. This sadistic side would often come out of the blue, and would terrorize present and future slaves she would own. The very first time Lady Terri and her sisters saw slaves kneeling before their mother, she was sick. When she saw a slave humiliate himself by disrobing for an inspection, she was nauseated. When she first witnessed slaves being whipped and beaten, she was overwhelmed by the experience and nearly cried. And when the whipped slave was released and dragged himself to the ground at Mistress Darlenes feet to beg for forgiveness, she felt compassion. But as time went on, all those feelings dried up. The sickness of watching a slave struggle when punished, the sorrow for a slave crying at her feet, and the need to treat the slaves with humility. These feelings were all gone. Like her mother, she now viewed slaves as simply property and had no second through about anything she demanded of them or did to them.
