Reynolds watched as the guards transferred Tom to the gurney. The trip to the basement only took five minutes but the for Tom it would a one way trip, a trip to a new existence.
The lift descended to the basement. Tom was wheeled to a room where there were other similar examples of Reynold's work, all oblivious to their true situation. Tom was still in a cloud of drugs and hypnosis. He felt remarkably calm. The kind doctor had freed him of his useless legs and arms and would also remove his useless testicles if he asked and he would ask � Reynolds smiled at the sight of his work. The government paid well for his research and he much to do. He turned and saw Turner standing behind him. "Your early." Reynolds said looking at the immaculate soldier. "Traffic was light. How is our new patient?" "He is settling well. He is quite convinced I have done him a favour removing his arms and legs and will be asking me to remove his genitals soon." Reynolds said proudly. "Will he be available for testing soon?" Turner asked. "Yes. He should be excellent for you purposes." Reynolds said coldly. "In fact once we have gelded him he will be ready. Your drugs should be most effective, and with his arms and legs removed he will pose no danger unlike the others. And when you are finished he can be harvested. He has excellent organs" Tom lay on his bed. The kind doctor would help him. His testicles were a burden and ugly. He would be so much happier when they were gone! "Doctor�" Tom mouthed quietly Reynolds turned to look at his "patient" and smiled. ***** Tom sat, propped up in his bed. His arms and legs gone, a tube ran from his groin. He smiled. The kind doctor had removed his testicles and trimmed back his ugly penis. It now was only a stump an inch long. He felt so much happier. The kind nurses came and went feeding him and giving him pills to take. He was just so happy. ***** Turner looked at his new acquisition. Tom had been handsome but the need for this research was paramount. Turner was working for the good of the nation and sacrifices had to be made! He took a large syringe and injected the substance into Tom's arm stump. Tom blinked and felt a strange tremor go through his body. He felt so awake, so alert. He wanted to leap off the bed �he couldn't �what had they done�.he wanted to kill!! He tried to scream but could not. Only a growl came out of his mouth. ***** "Two weeks on the drugs and he is almost ready." Turner said as he addressed the group of military figures. "The hair growth is excellent. The new teeth development is better than with the previous drug combination. The amputations have made the control of the specimen much easier. Especially as this version of the drugs does not erase the memory of the specimen. He is aware of the changes. The collar and chain are essential for the your safety. Do not approach the specimen. Tom roared. His body, now covered in hair, new teeth, almost fang like filled his mouth, and his eyes saw sharper and further, and his ears heard more and louder. But, he knew that he had been altered and he could do nothing about it but he was angry. He would kill the man named Turner if only he could get loose! To be continued�
