In many locker rooms the boys do this game called cup checking where they check a boy for a jockstrap with a cup by hitting another boy in the groin with their fist to see if he is wearing aprotective cup.

At Ponderosa High School several boys were doing cup checks following a sports event. Several boys passed their checks but this one fourteen year old boy was cup checked and fell to the floor in pain since the checkers fist had hit him square and firmly in the scrotum.

Sometime later the boy complained to his mother who noticed that he was in obvious pain. His mother took him to their family doctor who immediately sent him to a hospital emergency room with the outer layer of his testicles cracked or ruptured which caused severe damage and bleeding.

Testicles with this type of injury no longer produces sperm even if the testicles are saved however in most cases ruptured testicles are removed. Boys with their testicles removed are forever sterile and in reality are Eunuchs.
