SLAVE OF SKANDA
Author's Note. This story describes a religion where, at the commencement of puberty, male novices are deprived of penile sensation, function and development and become temple prostitutes as part of a program of spiritual training. It is set in Southern India in the tenth century of the Common Era (i.e. since the reputed birth of Jesus). Some of the elements are drawn from historical fact but the main features are invented. The real meaning is that it crystallizes the author's fantasies, which he has realized in large measure in twenty-first century America. It is being written and published to further the author's exploration in this area of erotic focus and to seek those who are attracted to similar themes. Chapter One: Varila Varila and his son Dinadi entered the main gate of the Temple of Skanda. Varila, a wealthy merchant and patron of the Temple, passed through a doorway reserved for the elite. Dinadi, age twelve, had shown the first signs of sexual maturation and was to be initiated into the rites of the religion. As had been arranged, they were met in an inner hall by the priest Rudrasunananda, a tall, muscular man about thirty years of age wearing the dark robe of a higher official in the Temple. Varila and Rudrasunananda greeted each other with the prescribed salute between devotee and priest and Rudrasunananda led the two into a small chamber. A boy, only slightly older than Dinadi, naked except for a white loincloth, knelt in a corner. Dinadi felt his male member, his zephas, stir in his own loincloth. He knew from his friends who had been initiated that the boy would worship the Lord through Dinadi's zephas. "Has your son yet shed seed?" Rudrasunananda asked Varila. "Not to my knowledge, Venerable," answered Varila. Rudrasunananda looked at Dinadi and Dinadi said, "No, Venerable, but the desire is becoming strong." "The desire is the Power of the Lord who is entering you," instructed Rudrasunananda. "Your seed is precious and must not be shed carelessly," he continued. "Seed has only two proper uses, to generate new life and to nourish the novices." Rudrasunananda turned again to Varila. "Is he betrothed?" "Indeed, Venerable," answered Varila. "The marriage will be consummated six moons hence." "Excellent," Rudrasunananda replied. Again to Dinadi: "You will freely shed seed within your wife when you are married. At any time, either before or after your marriage, you are welcome to feed the novices here. The courtyard of the lesser tower is reserved for young men such as yourself. There is no charge for those in the second stage of life. Some young men enjoy themselves there three or more times a day. The Power of the Lord is strong in the young." Rudrasunananda poured a small tumbler of liquid from a bottle on a table while telling Dinadi "This is soma," and Varila said a short prayer before drinking. Then Rudrasunananda gestured to Varila. "Show your son how the Power enters a man." Varila walked over to the corner where the novice was waiting. The novice's head was cradled in a cushioned support. Varila opened his cloak. Dinadi watched as the novice licked his father's zephas. Involuntarily Dinadi's hand went to his own zephas. The priest touched Dinadi on the arm. "Do not touch yourself," Rudrasunananda said. "As an initiate, your zephas belongs to the Lord. Your turn will come soon. You must learn self-restraint for self-restraint is the price of the pleasure you obtain." Varila's zephas rose as the novice licked it. Of itself, the dark foreskin drew back and revealed the plum-red head. The novice's lips protruded and embraced the glistening head of Varila's zephas. Dinadi stood transfixed as his father stepped forward, leaning against a shelf in the corner that was conveniently placed and began to thrust his manhood into the novice's mouth. Varila's face was bright and his eyes gleamed. The thrusting increased in range and grew more forceful. The face of the novice also seemed to brighten. "Now the Lord takes possession of both," said Rudrasunananda softly to Dinadi. The speed of Varila's action slowed and a smile played on his lips. "The older man can prolong the pleasure through control granted by the Lord," commented Rudrasunananda to Dinadi. Varila became more relaxed as he put his zephas into the novice's mouth and throat at various depths. The novice caressed Varila's body from the calves to the shoulders and Varila stroked the novice's head. Then Varila stepped back and sat down on a bench with his legs spread. The novice slid forward, still on his knees, and licked Varila about the groin and under his crotch. Varila caressed the novice about the head and shoulders and the novice stroked Varila's chest, belly and legs. After several minutes, Varila stood and the novice crawled back into the corner. "I know the boy is eager," said Varila. "Often I will spend a long time with a good novice like this one. But my son wants his turn." Varila began to thrust again and again the brightness filled his face. Slowly the thrusting became faster and more forceful. Varila began to breathe strenuously. He held the novice's head and plunged forward again and again. Finally, Varila cried aloud with ecstasy and stood still while the novice bobbed up and down on the zephas, his throat actively swallowing. All relaxed while Rudrasunananda poured a tumbler of the soma for Dinadi. The priest taught Dinadi the prayer and Dinadi repeated it several times. Meanwhile another tumbler was poured for the novice, who said a different prayer and drank it down. Then Dinadi drank from the tumbler. A warm glow spread out from Dinadi's stomach. He felt a joy fill him as he stepped forward and undid his loincloth. His boyish zephas was small and pale, but was quickly stiff. The novice lavished attention on it with tongue and lips. Dinadi had never felt such pleasure. Rudrasunananda and Varila were talking softly, but Dinadi could not focus on their words. The pleasure in his zephas was so intense. Dinadi knew that he should control himself like his father had, but he could not. All too soon he was holding the novice by the head and slapping the novice's face and head with his belly. The novice's tongue was wrapped around Dinadi's zephas and Dinadi knew the Power of the Lord as he plunged it into the novice's mouth. Then there was a burst of pleasure of joy that subsided all too quickly. As they walked back from the Temple, Dinadi told his father that he had enjoyed the initiation enormously but that he wished he could have made it last longer. "You will learn, my son," Varila assured him. Then Dinadi asked, "Is it true that the novices have their male organs cut off?" "No," answered Varila. "The zephas is sacrificed, but the balls are left as the seat of the Lord." "I heard that no layman sees what the novice has," said Dinadi. "That is ordinarily true," answered Varila, "but novices are assigned to the large boats to serve the sailors and then it is seen." Varila owned such boats and his eldest son, Prahlada, was a captain on one, so it was clear that Varila had knowledge of what he said. That evening, Varila wanted to discuss future plans with Dinadi and entered the small room Dinadi shared with his younger brother, Uvana. He was shocked to see Dinadi lying on his back on the bed with his legs spread and Uvana lying between them sucking on Dinadi's zephas. "Sacrilege," Varila said angrily. Dinadi tried to explain. "He asked what happened today and, when I tried to explain, my zephas became hard. He started to suck it just like the novice." "This is very wrong," Varila exclaimed. "We must all go back to the priest tomorrow." Chapter Two: Rudrasunananda Rudrasunananda nodded serenely as Varila finished explaining what he had witnessed between Dinadi and Uvana the day before. The two boys sat shamefaced. Rudrasunananda smiled indulgently at them. "This is not a grave sin," Rudrasunananda said. "Boys play and no one is injured. It is, however, a proper matter for inquiry. I will discuss it with Dinadi alone." When they were alone, Rudrasunananda asked Dinadi to explain in detail what had happened. "Uvana asked what had happened at the Temple. I thought I should not discuss it because I was initiated and he was not, but all the boys talk with each other about the ritual of worship and Uvana would not stop asking. So, I told him about how the novice took my zephas in his mouth and how good it felt. My zephas became hard again and suddenly Uvana put his hand around it and opened my loincloth. Then, before I knew what was happening, he began to suck on it. It felt good, like with the novice, and then Father came in." Rudrasunananda nodded. "As I explained to you, it is not a sin. We shall perhaps discuss the matter again. But first I will speak with your brother. Tell him to come in." As soon as Dinadi left the chamber, Rudrasunananda stood up and opened the front of his robe over his chest. He slid the top part from his shoulders and was seated with the lower part still closed when the younger boy entered the room. He watched Uvana's eyes closely. The eyes were fixed, staring at Rudrasunananda's muscular torso. Rudrasunananda spoke softly. "Uvana." Slowly the eyes rose to look into his own. "Sit down," directed Rudrasunananda. The boy complied and his childish arms lay on the table. Rudrasunananda laid his large hand on the small forearm in a tender gesture. Uvana started and seemed fearful. Rudrasunananda smiled. "You wanted to see Dinadi's zephas yesterday, is that not so." Uvana slowly nodded. "And you could not resist your desire to suck on it." Again, a slow nod. "You have wanted to suck on his zephas for some time - is this correct?" A third nod. With his other hand, Rudrasunananda touched Uvana on the cheek. "When I was a boy like you, I too wanted to suck on a zephas when I heard about the worship." Rudrasunananda smiled as the fear was replaced by a look of eagerness. "And I did suck on zephas, thousands of zephas." Not just eagerness, but hungry eagerness. This boy was one destined for the Lord! "I love sucking on the zephas," continued Rudrasunananda. "I love swallowing the seed." Rudrasunananda removed his hand from the Uvana's arm and gestured across his massive chest. "When I was your age, I was no bigger than you are now. The seed nourished me and the Lord made me the man I am today." The boy's face filled with joy and Rudrasunananda rose to embrace him. "You shall serve the Lord and you will be one of my novices. Already, I love you." The boy's arms were around his neck and he lifted up the small dark body so their eyes were at the same level. "The Lord has chosen you for Himself," Rudrasunananda declared softly. A short time later, Varila, Dinadi and Uvana sat across from Rudrasunananda. "Uvana will be like a novice for you," Rudrasunananda said. "Teach him to worship through you and let him swallow your seed. But watch carefully. Nourished by the seed he will grow quickly. When the first sign of manhood shows on him, return him to the Temple for the Lord shall claim him." Then Rudrasunananda directed his attention to Varila. "Your oldest son, Prahlada, commands your ship and has already given you four grandchildren. Your second son, too, will follow in your trade and give you more descendents. This last one you must surrender to the Lord." Varila nodded slowly. Obviously the youngest boy was to become a novice. His wife had died while carrying a fourth child that was never born but Prahlada and Dinadi would sire many grandchildren. Very well, the Lord had spoken. Rudrasunananda spoke again. "The King has many pearls that are in demand in Cathay. But the King is also a son of the Lord. I will speak with those who decide these questions. You will give the Lord a son, but the Lord will multiply your wealth and give you many descendents. And your last son too will rise and will not forget you who gave him life and who feeds him with his first seed." This was more than satisfactory! thought Varila. And, now that he thought about it, the boy had always been quiet and studious - and, it seemed, one who sucked the zephas! Well, so it should be! Chapter Three: Dinadi The first light of morning filtered into the room Dinadi shared with Uvana and awoke Dinadi. He was lying on his side with his chest against Uvana's back and his arm around his brother. As had happened every morning for lately, Dinadi's zephas had wakened before him with anticipation. Dinadi stroked Uvana, still asleep, and, seemingly without leaving his sleep, Uvana rolled over and slid down to suck Dinadi's zephas. Dinadi stroked Uvana's head while the boy worshipped half in dream and half in the world. During the moons that had passed since that first time, the two brothers had become closely affectionate. Uvana gave Dinadi so much pleasure so freely and so joyously that Dinadi's heart had melted toward him. Truly, Dinadi thought, this is how the zephas teaches love. Shall my wife teach such love? It was Uvana's love, the older boy thought, that had so quickly brought Dinadi to maturity. His zephas was the largest of any of his friends and he was nearly the tallest. How the others envied him the constant worship he received from Uvana. Sometimes Dinadi visited the Temple with his friends, but the novices' worship could not compare with that of Uvana, who knew so thoroughly how to give him pleasure. Following Rudrasunananda's instructions, Uvana's worship was restricted to his immediate family. In the evening, also, Uvana worshipped the Lord through Dinadi and worshipped through Varila also. Father and son had become close as they sat side by side, arms around each other and talking over the events of the day as Uvana sucked first one, then the other. Prahlada, too, had enjoyed Uvana's worship when he was home between voyages. Previously, Prahlada's ship had traded spices grown in their own country with metals made by the Arabs to the West. The Arabs seemed to be growing mightier. Now Prahlada was away trading pearls for gold in the great Eastern realm of Cathay. Their own country, Chola, seemed small in comparison to these mighty empires but was protected by its remoteness in the Southern corner of the Deccan area of Bharata (the Indian subcontinent) and the fierceness of its armies raised up in the Parantaka dynasty and sustained by the new monarch Parantaka IV. The world was a dangerous place, but Chola was blessed by the Lord. During his voyages, Prahlada had had long discussions with the novice/priest, Subrahmanyadas, who sailed with them. What would happen to Uvana naturally became a topic of discussion in the family circle during the long evenings of pleasure while Prahlada was in the home and Uvana slowly circled around the couches. "He did not feel it was right to disclose all of the secret rituals," Prahlada explained, "but we saw him naked and much was obvious." "They do not remove the zephas of the novice, but, during the initiation, while the novice is still a boy, the zephas is pierced with golden pins in the head and near the body. It is tightly bound inside narrow bamboo and metal tubes that are sealed over the pins. The novice easily passes urine, but the zephas cannot grow hard and soon shrinks into no more then a frail tendril." Prahlada explained other things he learned and saw. "They never shed seed but become voracious eaters of the seed of men who visit the Temple. Worshipping the Lord through the zephas becomes for many years the great passion of their novitiate. They are taught other practices to magnify the passion that Subrahmanyadas would not disclose." "Never shedding seed and eating seed in great quantities, the novices become enormously charged with the Power of the Lord's Manhood. Subrahmanyadas has enormous balls. He is by far the biggest and strongest sailor on the ship. He commands the crew with majesty during the day and worships through them at night providing them with most intense pleasure. They would follow him into death. He is truly loved." "Similarly, I have been told, the priests command our armies. It is their leadership that preserves our people." Dinadi heard this while his mind swirled with the pleasure Uvana was giving him, kneeling at his feet, his mouth massaging Dinadi's zephas. Dinadi and Uvana had learned together how to prolong the ecstasy. Dinadi thought: He will have an exciting life. It is good for him that he loves to suck the zephas and does not care about his own. But I would not trade my zephas for the command of armies, great strength or even big balls.
