WOMAN CUTS OFF RAPIST'S PENIS A shocked Grahamstown woman walked into a police station on Monday morning and told how she had cut off the testicles and penis of a man who raped her. [.....]The police, accompanied by the woman, rushed to the scene where she said she had left the man prostrate on the ground, writhing in agony. But neither the man - nor the amputated organs she said she left hanging on a tree - have been found. Police spokesman Funisile Philip said the woman told the police that about 9am on Monday she went to chop wood at Collingham Forest where she was attacked by a man, who raped her. She said that, after her attacker was finished, he appeared quite relaxed and tired. She then asked if she could wipe the dirt off his penis and he agreed. She took out a knife, and, while pretending to be wiping him with a towel, she cut off his private parts. The woman was admitted to the Settlers Hospital. Once she is discharged, she will be asked to try again to point out the correct scene. All hospitals and doctors in the area have been asked to notify police should a man approach them for treatment regarding such injuries.
