Shelly was staying with me while the Togo soccer team was in town as part of their north american tour. Shelly had graduated as an MD two years after I had met her at the Testicular Therapy Clinic.As part of her internship her had gone to Togo and castrated 150 promising young soccer players, transplanting their testicles in their arm pits. They still had testostrone needed tp play the game and were fearless players, no longer worried about getting kicked in the nuts.
I had trained as a paramedic while volunteering at the clinic and Shelly made sure I brought my ID to the game. She explained that the Togo team had never lost a game on the tour, their tactic was to kick one of the oposition in the nuts early in the game making it look like an accident. The players all wore a jockstrap and a cup for protection but the Togo team had learned to drive the cup up rather than back, thus the testicles traped in the cup were slid up the penis to the end of the cords, the cup the went on past crushing the nuts on the way. One of Shelly's nurses daughters had been seduced by the captain of the north american team and the nurse had asked Shelly to "fix" things. About 5 minutes into the game the biggest Togo player kicked the captain from behind, lifting him a foot off the groung. The captain was doubled over on the ground as the players gathered around. Shelly picked up her black bag and with me in tow headed out onto the field. As were approached the group of people surrounding the injured player I was Shelly's nurse friend was there as well as an other woman who seemed very upset, it turned out she was the mother of the boy. Shelly introduced herself as a doctor and had the mother sign the forms that would let her treat the boy. Shelly gave the boy an injection ( which I found out later relaxed all his muscles so that he could not struggle, but did nothing for the pain.)She had a couple of the players from his own team sit at his head and feet and hold his arms and legs. She then cut off his shorts and jockstrap.The mother burst into tears as she saw his scrotum like a big black grapefruit, Shelly asked if there as anyone with medical training, the nurse and I were the only ones. Shelly took the mother aside and told her that she had to open the sack to stop the bleeding. Shelly gave gloves to the nurse and myself and when we had them on handed me several clamps. Shelly made a cut right down the centre and with a rush of blood both testicles popped out. The nurse was on her knees between the boys legs with Shelly and I on either side. The nurse grabbed one testicle with each hand and ripped the right one, which was nearly severed anyway right off. I clamped the cord and Shelly tied it off. The nurse was pulling on the left testicle for all she was worth but the cord was holding. I think we could have easily saved it but Shelly told me to double clamp it, as Shelly tied it off the nurse took the snips and cut it off. As the ambulance crew was loading the boy I saw the nurse slip his nuts into a zip-lock bag and drop them into her purse. She gave me a wicked smile and she silently mouthed "thank you"
