Interview with a Modifier - Part 5

James: Yes. A straight couple came to me last year determined to use surgery to save their marriage. The problem stemmed from the husband’s inability to remain faithful to his wife.

Charles was in his early 30s, quite handsome, with a very strong sexual drive. He traveled on business a lot, which gave him opportunity to cheat on his wife. Lisa was in her late 20s, also very attractive.

Lisa had caught Charles cheating on a number of occasions, and was very distraught about his infidelity. Charles tried to control his urges, but always gave in. Basically, the couple wanted to save their marriage because they loved each other very much, but so far nothing had changed the situation.

Q: What did they want from you?

J: They had come up with a very clever, if extreme, solution. At first, they considered castration for Charles. He was agreeable, but felt that it was unfair that he give up his sexual life while she remained intact. So, they wanted me to castrate Charles and perform a clitorectomy on Lisa.

I was taken aback by this. Divorce seemed a more reasonable solution, but they insisted that they didn’t want to end their marriage. After discussing it with them for over an hour, I became convinced that they had made a reasoned decision.

Q: How did the surgery go?

J: They wanted to have both procedures done on the same day. And they wanted to watch each other’s surgery. I always try to grant these requests, so I arranged for them to come to my house the following Friday.

They were extremely nervous, as you might expect, and almost had backed out. They both removed their clothing, and I could see they had shaven their genital areas, as I requested Lisa wanted to go first, so she climbed onto the table. I put her feet in the stirrups, while Charles sat next to the table and held her hand.

A clitorectomy isn’t a terribly difficult procedure to perform. After injecting a local anesthetic into her genital area, I used clamps to spread her labia and expose her clitoris. Lisa had a fairly large clitoris, and it seemed rather swollen, as if she were sexually aroused. I noticed that her vagina was quite moist, so I guessed that on some level she was turned on by the idea of being cut.

First I cut away the hood, exposing the organ. I used forceps to pull the clitoris away from her body and began cutting around the base of the shaft. It was important that I removed as many nerves as possible, in order to eliminate or at least greatly reduce any future sexual sensations. At that moment, I glanced over at Charles and saw he was masturbating a very large erection.

Lisa was breathing heavily, but otherwise was calm. When I finished cutting, I held up the forceps so they both could see her severed clitoris. Charles gasped and stroked his penis furiously, finally ejaculating. The semen actually landed on her breasts and stomach.

After stitching Lisa’s wound, she climbed off the table and lay down on a cot in the corner of the room. Charles now looked almost in a state of panic, since it was his turn under the knife. At first he seemed unable to move, but Lisa sternly told him to get on the table. After he looked at her, and saw the wound that had been caused by his infidelity, he reluctantly climbed on the table.

As I put his feet into the stirrups, I could see that I’d have to give him a sedative because he was literally shaking. I hooked up an IV and he soon began to calm down. But he started sobbing as I injected the anesthetic around his scrotum. Lisa just watched with a determined look on her face.

Charles cried out when I sliced into his scrotum, not from pain but from grief. He couldn’t bear to watch as I pulled his testicles free and tied off the blood vessels. I knew that he might start resisting physically soon, so I quickly snipped each of the testicles and placed them in the same dish that held Lisa’s clitoris. Charles was bawling like a baby as I stitched up his sack. Lisa just had a disgusted look on her face.

Q: Was the marriage saved?

J: Yes, but this surgery wasn’t enough by itself. About six months later they returned, with Lisa in a very angry state and Charles with a humiliated look on his face.

It turns out that Charles had begun taking hormone injections that had restored his sexual functioning. When Lisa found out she was absolutely furious. She had given up her sexual pleasure to save the marriage, while he was carrying on with his infidelities.

Q: What did they want from you this time?

J: They asked me what else could be done, and I explained that only a penectomy could guarantee that Charles would be unable to have intercourse with women. He had a horrified look on his face, but Lisa demanded that he agree to this procedure. He sheepishly nodded his head.

This time I decided to restrain Charles on the operating table, because I couldn’t be sure he wouldn’t change his mind. A penectomy is a much more involved procedure than a castration, but Lisa said she wanted him to be awake the whole time as punishment for his behavior.

I left a small penile stub at her request, to remind him of what he had lost. When he saw me lift his penis away from his body, he burst into sobs, his whole body shaking. Lisa stood next to him and gently stroked his face and hair, trying to calm him. She had me put the penis in a plastic bag so she could preserve it with the other sex organs they had at home.

Q: Are they still together?

J: Yes, and seem quite happy. Charles has accepted his sexual nullification and is devoted to Lisa. She seems content with her decision to sacrifice her clitoris to save the marriage. So it all worked out in the end.

I want to say again that I never judge my clients. To most people what Charles and Lisa did was extreme, but to them it was a logical, reasoned solution. So it was a successful ending to the story.
