Note: This should not be posted to sites where minors are likely to view it. It deals with the unwilling castration of men in a world where it is common.   It also deals with capital punishment, and in this tale a lot more gets chopped of than just a set of balls.   This story never happened, but the names referred to as factual cases are real, and the events discussed outside of the storyline are all true.   Still, the story itself is fictional.   If you enjoy the read, then so be it. This story will make you think, and I should warn you upfront that it deals with many issues related to modern day prisons and the lives of evil men who live behind the bars. The setting of this story is in a maximum security prison, in an imaginary country, and is more fantasy that reality. Still, the issues presented are real, and are significant, and the factual points are accurate, and verifiable.

The tale deals with prison sex, capital punishment, and the myriad of problems that face men when they live with little hope for a better future. While we should all feel for them, to some degree, the situation they face is one they have created themselves, and it is important that we remember that. It is easy to feel pity for the men there, but it's also important that we not forget the victims of the crimes that put them there.

One issue that is common to every maximum security facility is prison sex, and certainly it is true to say that many inmates are raped repeatedly while in prison. There is a dedicated sexual hierarchy in most prisons that mandates the younger men be preyed upon by the older inmates, and certainly favors are bought and sold in currency that may be nothing more than a few cigarettes. Some men are forced to act like women, spreading their legs wide and keeping their holes open, truly becoming prison whores for the entire time they are incarcerated. The facilities sometimes condone, unofficially of course, this near constant barrage of sexual abuse.

What could be done? Could this accepted and destructive prison sex lifestyle be modified or changed through some behavior control mechanism? This story will attempt to take on this issue, and while the mechanism in the story is controversial it would likely succeed if it could be implemented.

Another significant issue concerning most maximum security prisons is the issue of capital punishment. No story dealing with the prison system could skirt that issue, and this one doesn't try to. In most maximum security prisons there is a group of condemned men that are waiting for the ultimate punishment. We can all especially feel for them, but then again they are the worst of the worst, so our sympathies are mitigated by what they have done. Still, the issues surrounding capital punishment are always controversial. And, it is an expensive process, primarily due to the many delays and long court cases, multiple appeals, and stays of execution.

Certainly, no matter where you stand on the issue, any of us would have to say that any state killing that is prolonged, drawn out, painful, or torturous should not be acceptable. Regardless of our feelings on weather killing the killer is justified, most of us would agree that any executions performed should be as quick and painless as possible, while maintaining a high deterrence value to society. In the world of today people are being executed by many methods, and while most of them are effective eventually, not all of them are fast or sure or painless. In fact, sadly, if you look at state mandated deaths around the world, once you look into the mechanism of death, you find out that most men executed today are simply tortured to death.

For an inmate being executed, his death process really begins as soon as he is removed from his normal routine and submitted to a procedure that ultimately will end in his demise. Of course, they know what is happening, and they also know at the end of it they will be dead. The longer that drawn out process is, the less humane it becomes. Unfortunately, today these procedures are sometimes so long and drawn out that they amount to no less than torture. And, it is extremely important to realize that the procedure used is as much a part of the death process as the actual life ending event. As an example, a man being electrocuted will spend as much as two hours with individuals preparing to kill him, and sometimes longer. His legs will be shaved, as well as the hair on his head. If he struggles or resists, then the process will take longer. Depending on the state, electrolyte solutions will be used on him, and in some states he may be dressed in special diapers and sometimes his rectum will be stuffed with cotton before he is taken to the death chamber. Witnesses are assembled, he is strapped to a wooden chair and hooked into it, and then, finally, he is allowed to speak, if he can, and after he has said his last words the electricity is fired into his body.

But even the charge of electricity often does not kill him, at least, not right away it doesn’t. There have been multiple cases where men have been through a single charge and then when the current is turned off they have moaned in terror and from the pain and shock. Sometimes, even the second and third charges have also failed to kill. In April of 1983 in the state of Alabama John Evans was electrocuted, but during the first jolt of electrons sparks and flames erupted form the electrode attached to his leg. It burst, and caught on fire. Smoke and flames shot out from under the hood he was wearing. Two physicians found him still alive, so the electrode was reattached, and he was shocked again, resulting in more smoke and flames and the intense smell of burning flesh. Afterwards, the man was still alive, so a third jolt of electricity was applied. In the end it took fourteen minutes to kill him, and the man's body was charred and smoldering when it was finally done.

There is no single agreed on protocol for delivery the electrical charge either. In fact, every state has a different protocol, with different voltages and amperages. As it turns out the initial charge rarely kills the prisoner, and instead multiple charges must be repeatedly put through his body before death is assured. In some cases the electrical charges are maintained for as long as twenty minutes because shorter durations do not always insure the death with certainty. Some experts say that an electrocution death actually kills the prisoner by maintaining the electrical impulses long enough to prevent the prisoner from breathing, although most experts would dispute that. Regardless by the time it is done the executed man is hot, very hot, and his skin is red and cooked and the areas where the electrodes provided a path to enter the body are burned black.

In October of 1985 William Vandiver was electrocuted with 2300 volts, but afterwards was still breathing. The execution eventually took 17 minutes and five jolts of electricity, and witnesses observed smoke and burning flesh through most of the period he was alive. The department of correction in Indiana admitted the execution did "not go according to plan."

Further, there is medical evidence that an electrocution is a very painful death. Autopsies of electrocuted prisoners have revealed that the path that the current of electricity takes rarely passes through the brain. Instead, it travels through the blood-rich tissues outside the skull, missing the brain and brain stem, and then through the entire body before exiting through a single point on the inmate's leg. It is highly likely that the prisoner feels the burning as he is cooked from within, his brain highly active until the heat build up finally renders him unconscious. His eyeballs may pop, and blood may pour from his noise. As the electric current passes through him, it may well be that an electrocuted man is simply burned alive until he is finally dead. Even the Florida Supreme Court Justice Leander Shaw agreed, after seeing images of the results of the execution of Allen Davis in 1999. He wrote that "the color photos of Davis depict a man who -- for all appearances -- was brutally tortured to death by the citizens of Florida."

Another common method of execution that has historically found favor in our own country is hanging. But hanging has without doubt been a long slow torturous death for many prisoners throughout history. Even those who are hanged with the long drop method, and who are lucky enough to have their necks broken, do not necessarily die instantly. They may hang on their rope, dangling there, as they feel their necks stretched, their bodies paralyzed. Or, perhaps they fall unconscious in that second when their neck snaps and their spine is severed. If everything goes exactly right, and the calculated drop delivers the necessary force to break the neck, then the inmate may well be unconscious when he reaches the end of his rope. But nobody knows for certain. We do know without any question that a hanging man may take up to ten minutes to die, and some heartbeats have continued rapidly for twenty minutes or more. And, God forbid if their neck doesn’t break! In that case they hang and twitch and jerk in a desperate attempt to breathe, struggling against the pain of being hanged and unable to escape or hasten their own demise. They die then, slowly, cruelly, hanging and swinging, doing the “hangman’s dance” as they struggle hopelessly until finally death overtakes them. In fact, hanging is such an uncertain death that in every state or country where it is done the protocols dictate that the hanged man must be left that way for at least thirty minutes (an hour in some countries) to insure that death has actually occurred.

The current trend now is for a prisoner to be executed with a lethal injection. It is sold to society as an easy death, and when it is used it satisfies the masses and keeps the protestors at bay. It's always presented as a painless, quick death, and is ideal in theory, but the reality is unfortunately all too often something terribly different. The death process is actually long and drawn out, taking more than an hour to prepare the prisoner, sometimes even requiring the cutting down a vein to find a suitable delivery point. In fact of all the execution methods used in the last hundred years, lethal injection takes the longest to complete and has a very high rate for complications. The mixture of drugs used is critical, and must be delivered in the proper sequence and dosages to assure that the death event is done quickly and painlessly. It’s a very technical death, and like most things technical, is fraught with errors. Even though it is medical procedure, by its definition, no medical doctor supervises it. It’s a complicated death process too, and if not done exactly right, it can result in a torturous death for the unfortunate inmate who has it done to him.

Part of the problem comes from the drug cocktail that is used. The first drug, sodium thiopental, is the most important, because it is designed to put the prisoner to sleep so that the other drugs can kill him while he is unconscious. That would provide a painless death, and would seem to be extremely humane. But the sodium thiopental is short acting, and does not kill the prisoner. To cause death, a second drug, pancuronium bromide, is administered after the first, and it paralyzes every muscle in the prisoner’s body. With this drug in his system, he can’t breathe, or blink, or talk, or move. By stopping the respiration process, the individual would die eventually, through asphyxiation if nothing else was done. Of course, that would take several minutes and a faster death is desired. So, a third drug is administered, potassium chloride, and it is designed to stop the heart muscle from beating, thus insuring a quick death. The three drugs are usually delivered approximately one minute apart. By design, the first drug puts the inmate to sleep, a minute later the second stops him from breathing, and a minute after that the third stops his heart. The method is sold as a painless three minute death, and it’s a great theory. But, if the first drug delivered fails to render the individual unconscious, then a disaster quickly unfolds.

And, it is very easy to have that happen. If the prisoner's vein collapses, a common problem with intravenous drug users, or the needle becomes clogged, or the prisoner is resistant to one or more of the drugs being used on him, then his death will not go easy. If the initial drug delivery doesn’t happen and in the proper dosage, then the second drug would freeze the muscles of the fully conscious individual. They would be paralyzed but fully awake, unable to breath and suddenly finding themselves smothering to death. They couldn’t move, or call out, but they would feel everything that followed. When the final chemical dumped into their bloodstream the potassium chloride would cause excruciating pain, and they would live through the torture until their heart stopped beating and death finally overtook them. Unfortunately, as it turns out, this is more common that we would be led to believe.

Normally, when an individual is injected with sodium thiopental his eyelids become heavy, and he closes them, as he relaxes and falls into a deep, dreamless sleep. But, when the drug is used on a scared and agitated prisoner, the injection must overcome the higher intravenous blood pressure, and travel down a longer tube than normally is used in a surgical procedure. Often, the executed prisoner never appears to fall asleep, their eyes remaining open and seeing during the entire procedure. They never close their eyes in fact! As the second drug hits them, they become paralyzed, so their eyes stay open then, a frozen stare, and they can do nothing but stare and feel. If the first drug fails to render them unconscious, then they remain awake, but paralyzed. Then, in a very real way they are subsequently tortured to death when the third chemical gets shot into their bloodstream.

When it goes badly, it goes very badly and fast. Sometimes the actual death takes a very long time. On March 14, 1984 James Autrey took more than 10 minutes to die, when his catheters clogged in Texas and left him fully awake throughout most of that time. He complained of excruciating pain during his entire death process. In another execution death, one reporter observing the prisoner said that he was observed to gasp, then cough, fighting against the restraints. He then rose up against the heavy restrains, coughing once again, a look of terror on his face. Then suddenly, his entire body froze, his eyes and mouth still frozen wide open, as the pancuronium bromide paralyzed him. He was definitely fully conscious when he was paralyzed, and he stayed that way, with the look of terror painted on his face for the long minutes that followed before he was finally pronounced dead.

Often, the veins of the condemned are in terrible shape, and it can be very problematic finding a suitable entry point to inject the chemicals, dragging out the death process as the search is made. In 1985 Stephen Morin was poked and probed for more than 45 minutes before they found a vein. Likewise, in June of 1987 Elliot Johnson suffered for 35 minutes while they hunted for a vein capable of supporting the injection. In January of 1992 Rickey Rector lay strapped on his death gurney while the execution staff took more than fifty minutes to find a suitable vein in his arm. He moaned and begged the entire time, and eventually in desperation he tried to help them find a vein so they would stop the torture and just get it over with. Attendants were preparing to do a "cut down" procedure when a vein in his right hand was finally discovered; more than an HOUR after the execution procedure began.

Sometimes the inmate has a reaction to the drugs, or a line becomes kinked and the death process becomes even longer and more drawn out. Stephen McCoy was executed in Texas in 1989, but he had such a violent physical reaction to the drugs, with heaving chest movements, gasping, and chocking, that at least one witness fainted. He wasn't the only one. On March 10 of 1992 Robyn Parks also had a violent reaction to his execution drug cocktail. Two minutes after the drugs entered his bloodstream the muscles in his jaws, neck, and abdomen began to spasmodically jerk, and he started to gasp and violently gag. In terror, he continued to suffer for eleven minutes before he finally died.

Another inmate, Charles Walker, was still alive seven minutes after he was injected with the chemicals that were supposed to kill him instantly, and the viewing curtains were even closed and the witnesses were told his execution was completed when in fact it was not. In reality, the execution technicians had to trace the chemical lines, and remove the kinks in them, and he wasn't actually pronounced dead until long after the witnesses had been dismissed.

Worse, on Dec 13, 1988 Raymond Landry remained alive 40 minutes after being strapped to the execution gurney and a full 24 minutes after the first chemicals were injected into his arms! As he struggled, the catheter came out of his vein, spraying chemicals across the room, and the catheter had to be reinserted before the execution could continue.

With this background, I dare to tell the story, a strange sort of tale that offers unique solutions to these modern day problems.

Prison Doc

I looked at the prisoner’s mutilated package, the shredded remains of his scrotum really not much more than pieces of skin. The testicles were gone, completely, and the squib had taken off the end of his cock as well. He was bleeding out through the opening, and I had to clamp his hose. He was going into shock when they brought him in, and if they had waited much longer I’ve have had a corpse to work on instead. This one was young, in his twenties, and he no doubt wouldn’t be too happy when he woke up nutless. As it was, the surgery itself wasn’t that difficult. I got him stabilized with a transfusion and he’d make it OK. Of course, he’d never fuck another girl’s cunt when he got out, or another man’s ass while he did the rest of his time here. Not now he wouldn’t. Not now.

Each prisoner here is outfitted with the cable belt and the ring around their scrotum as soon as they are in-processed. The ring is made of hardened steel, but it is hollow inside, and contains an explosive squib that when fired, pretty much emasculates the man wearing it, and it does it in an instant. On the backside of the belt there is a small, thin box, again made of case hardened steel. It contains the chip, and receiver, and the 9V battery the squib requires, and if the man wearing it tries to leave the prison compound, then the device will trigger automatically. I probably get two or three of them a month, like this one, and no matter how many times I see it it’s never a pretty scene.

The escape attempts usually cost the man both his cock, and his balls. Like this one, the scrotum ring explodes, and the hanging cock that is resting over his nuts suffers at the same time. If the man is hard, and his pole is up and out of the way, then usually only the man’s balls are lost and typically there won’t be much damage to his cock. Of course, without his balls, his days of living with a hard cock are numbered. But a prisoner running, or going over the fence, typically isn’t in a state of arousal, so when the squib fires it pretty much takes out his entire package.

There are two other ways that the squib will fire. Each prisoner’s receiver is unique, so if the warden sends out a specific, coded signal, he can nut any inmate he wants to, at any time. These are sent via the regular email message system, electronically, much like a message being sent to a cell phone. To send one of these messages, all the warden has to do is to type in the code, and hit the transmit button, and instantaneously the message is sent and the elected man is nutted. We jokingly refer to these messages as “ball grams” and while it's very unusual to have to send one, it’s definitely a message that is never forgotten.

Another thing that will trigger a squib to fire is if its proximity fuse is triggered. Generally speaking, when a prisoner is first outfitted with the device the prox fuse is set to zero, which basically means that he can get as close as he wants to another device and nothing will happen. However, if a prisoner refuses to follow the rules, or becomes too promiscuous with the other inmates, then he can be called in and have those privileges rescinded. In that case, the prox fuse can be set to a higher value, and if he gets his scrotal ring too close to another one, then that too would fire the squib. Typical punishment settings are six inches, which means that a man has no way of performing penetration sex with another inmate. For example, a prisoner with a six inch prox setting would never allow him to mount a fellow prisoner, and if he tried then he’d lose his nuts in the process. The nice thing about the prox settings of six inches is that there is little chance of an accidental detonation by inadvertent contact.

Most of these prisoners in this facility are in here for life, or at least long prison terms, and so they will spend the majority of their life behind bars living the prison routine. I don’t have a lot of sympathy for them, as they have done something pretty severe to get sent here, but that said I do understand the need to allow them a sexual outlet. You simply can’t lock a man up for forty or fifty years and not let him fuck something, and without any women here even the most homo-phobic prisoners will eventually come around to male-on-male sex. Over time, it’s their only release, and it becomes extremely important to them.

Consensual sex is generally allowed. Rape is not. However, misbehaving prisoners can have their behavior restricted, and nothing upsets them more than to have the warden order a sexual restriction for a while. With the squibs around their balls, these restrictions are very enforceable, and are feared by the prisoners. The prox settings are the key, and we have a lot of men with them. I laugh when I see one of the inmates staring wishfully, his boner jutting outward in his pants, and unable to do anything but just watch and dream. It’s easy to pick them out, as they will be just staring at another inmate, for hours, their cocks dripping with desire. I especially like it when the warden restricts one of two men who have been regularly sharing an intimate relationship together.

Now, with one of the two on restriction, all they can do is stare at each other and wish and dream. If a man with a six inch prox setting tried to penetrate another inmate's ass with his cock, or spread his legs and let it be done to him, as soon as his scrotal ring came within six inches of the other inmates, his squib would fire, castrating him. Needless to say, proximity adjustments are taken very seriously by the men confined to this facility, and because of that the inmates tend to behave themselves.

Nothing is more dreaded for a prisoner who is sexually active than to have his prox setting adjusted and thus forced to change his behavior. When you suddenly take away his freedom with a readjustment of his prox setting it’s just devastating, and I’ve seen grown men crying, begging even, just to be allowed to fuck again. If a man is sentenced to fifty years, and you take away his ability to get near another prisoner, it can drive a man insane with desire. Of course, he has no choice but to comply. If he ignores the rule then he’ll end up a eunuch. One hundred percent of the time!

We have almost three thousand inmates at this facility, and the scrotal rings keep them in line. This facility houses the worst of the worst, and we have rapists, thieves, sexual predators, and murderers here that make up the majority of our inmate population. Allowing them sex among themselves is important, as it gives them some relief and that in turn keeps things in control. Still, on occasion the warden will punish a man who won’t play by the rules and deny him any sex for a specific period of time.

When an adjustment is mandated they are brought to me, and I reprogram their rings. They are restrained in a chair while this is done, and so they watch me changing their setting and testing it with a probe to make sure the distance is right. I always make certain that the prisoner understands his new limitations, and I always tell them that if they want them changed back then they will need to talk to the warden and get it authorized. I’ve watched grown men begging like six year olds, knowing the warden has taken away their sexual privileges for a six month period, or even longer in some cases.

As part of the reprogramming procedure, I also dye the man’s balls a florescent orange, so that anyone seeing his nuts knows that his squib setting has been adjusted. One man, who was fucking every young prisoner he could, had his privileges rescinded permanently. Three weeks later he was in the clinic and I was looking at his shredded bag, the bits of orange flesh all that was left of his manhood. I guess he just couldn’t take it. That guy’s squib blew his cock off too, right at the base, so he pretty much did a complete job on himself when he tried to mount a young teenage boy.

If a man rapes another prisoner, then he will be sent to me and I'll castrate him. Also, sometimes I am told to castrate the prisoners as a punishment for another violation, such as attacking a guard or sneaking in contraband. We don’t use the squibs for those kind of cases. As an example, I did two gang members this morning, cutting their balls off as they screamed and begged to be allowed to keep them. They had attacked a younger inmate, an eighteen year old murderer, who had himself had his sexual privileges taken away three weeks before. The gang members were in the process of raping him, and when they got his pants off and saw his orange balls, they didn’t care but raped him anyway.

Of course, when the first man penetrated the young boy’s ass, his scrotal ring came within the six inch perimeter, which caused the boy’s squib to fire and in turn that castrated him. The man who was fucking wasn’t hurt, and kept on humping the neutered boy. After he had shot his load and filled up the boy’s rectum with his jism, his fellow gang member mounted the nutless boy and raped him for a second time. Obviously, their actions cost the younger prisoner his balls, through no fault of his own.

Everything was caught on the surveillance camera, so there wasn't any doubt what had occurred. Consequently, the warden had the two men nutted, one right after the other, to teach them a lesson and to set an example for the others. They were both twenty years old, and when they were brought in to be castrated they were screaming and fighting like there was no tomorrow coming. I used a curved scalpel, and took the first boy’s bag, right at the top, with a single sawing motion. As I worked that blade through the top of his bag and excised his whole scrotum, the other boy was shaking and fighting like a manic, knowing he was next. Then, I sutured up the wound on the first inmate and went to the next. The first castrated boy’s eyes rolled back in his head when I took his bag, and he collapsed completely when I unmanned him.

The second one fought even harder, but his bag was no match for the blade either and soon enough it too was separated from his body. Since they had no balls anymore I punched a hole in the head of their dicks, and placed a probe squib through it. These are set in place similar to a Prince Albert piercing, but the point squibs are shaped more like a small barbell instead. Once installed, there is no way to remove the barbell, and it takes the place of a scrotal squib for those inmates who have lost their balls. I figure that without their balls they probably wouldn’t be too keen on sex, and their behavior was likely to improve as well. Even so, they were both murderers, sentenced to sixty years each, and it was important that if they attempted to escape there would be something in place to stop them. I figure the odds are even that at some point they’ll still try and jump the fence, blowing their dicks off in the process.

Both the penis squibs and the scrotal ring squibs have been working well, and when you are running a maximum security prison it’s a good way to make sure the inmates behave, and stay inside. We did have a mini-riot two years ago, with two dozen inmates taking over D block. One guard was injured in the attack, and the men took two other guards prisoner. The warden came on the loudspeaker and ordered them back into their cells, and then, when they refused, he started nutting them, one after the other. The squibs were firing with a loud bang, followed by a scream, and then about thirty seconds later, another bang, and another scream. The entire riot fell apart before the sixth man was castrated, and the rest of the troublemakers literally ran back to their cells. Order was restored in less than fifteen minutes.

I ended up with all of them in the clinic. The half-dozen nutted scrotums were shredded, and two of those six lost their cocks as well. All of the men involved were given prox settings, and I sure dyed a lot of balls florescent orange that day! I was instructed to set the prox fuses to two feet, instead of the usual six inches, and if they so much as got near another prisoner the men would castrate themselves. I expect to see most of them nutted over the next six months, as I doubt they can keep themselves away from everyone for an extended length of time. Too bad for them I say. The warden has no sympathy for anyone that goes after a guard, and he indicated to me that the prox settings were permanent.

A few hours ago I nutted a fifty year old. He was a fat man, with a huge set of balls. The warden had him nutted because he was always causing problems, and he was very aggressive, fighting with the other inmates and basically being difficult to work with. The guards were tired of his antics, as was the warden. Anyway, earlier today he spit on one of the guards, and beat the crap out of a younger prisoner. That got him hauled into the clinic, for a little one-on-one session with me. I had him strapped down and then I castrated him. He sure didn’t like that! I let him keep his bag, but I opened it carefully and excised his stones, one by one, and as I took them with a flick of my knife he grunted in disbelief. What really amazed me about him was he shot a thick load of jism as I nutted him. It really was quite disgusting, but at least it was his last load.

After I took his balls I placed two fairly large round metal marbles into his bag, so that his scrotal ring would still stay in position and he would not be able to remove it. He’s in for life, with or without his balls, so now that he’s been nutted it was important to keep him ringed with a squib. While he’s been castrated, the metal balls will keep his squib in place, and if for some reason he does something that causes it to fire, it almost assuredly will take off the guy's ballsack, and his dick with it.

This being a maximum security prison, we have at any given time a half dozen or so men on death row. As a physician I don’t get too involved with their sentence, although I do technically have to pronounce them dead once it has been carried out. Our prison has seen a lot of changes over the years, but after the last botched execution the French guillotine is now the mechanism of death we use when it is required. It makes my job easy, as once the blade has fallen and the man has been decapitated, I don’t even have to listen to the heart to pronounce the man dead. I guess it's fast, a lot faster than the electric chair, or the gas chamber, or hanging for that matter, especially if you consider there is very little prep time required. And, regardless of how unskilled the executioner is, its still 100 percent effective, and I've yet to see a man survive the fall of the blade.

It's also faster than lethal injection, by several orders of magnitude. That method uses a three drug system that is fraught with errors, and I’m not convinced that some men don’t suffer extremely when a vein becomes clogged and the drugs are given out of the intended sequence. Some of them have definitely died with their eyes open, when the first drug failed to put them to sleep, and the second drug paralyzed them. God that must have been a terrible death! And, its likely to happen more often than not, as many of the worst offenders are drug users, and their veins are in terrible shape, a setup for disaster if I ever saw one. I suppose most methods of capital punishment requires hours of preparation, shaving the prisoner, or prepping a vein, or dressing them in special underwear so that when they defecate the mess will be minimized.

We used to hang our prisoners here, and that was a two hour procedure. Hell, you have to prep them, secure them, get them to the scaffold, set the noose, drop them, and then wait until their heart stops. Death by hanging is so uncertain that they must be left hanging from their rope for at least thirty minutes, just to be certain that the death process has been completed.

Now that we have gone to the guillotine none of this is true anymore. When the time comes the warden and two guards go into the condemned prisoner's cell, where he is told that his reprieve was denied and its time for his sentence to be carried out. He is allowed a short prayer if he so desires, before his arms are restrained. That takes about a minute, and then the condemned is escorted from his cell into the death chamber, with is at the end of the block, a short fifty steps. There is no hesitation, no delays. The man is stepped up to the machine, and then he is immediately strapped to the upright bascule and then turned horizontally and slid into the half cut-out, called the lunette, which is made to accommodate his neck. The top of the lunette is then brought down, locking his head in place, instantly followed by the release of the blade.

The 88.2 pound blade will fall the seven feet of travel in just under a 70th of a second, and will be traveling at 21 feet per second when it passes through the neck of the condemned. It strikes with a force of 888 pounds per square inch, and will accomplish the actual beheading in 2/100's of a second. Historically, it only takes approximately two minutes from the time when the prisoner is first notified his time to die has come, until he is in the machine and the blade has been tripped. That timing has been true here as well.

No method of death ever devised is as fast, or as sure. A further plus, is that there is no need to wait any length of time once it has been done, and the body can be placed directly in the casket, along with the severed head, and sent immediately to the undertaker. Death is positive, swift, and certain one hundred percent of the time, and yet it probably retains one of the highest deterrent values of any execution method.

I sometimes wonder what, if anything, the condemned man feels as the blade passes through his neck. It certainly happens fast, very fast, and one minute they are a living thinking being, staring into the bucket that will catch their head, and the next they are just a head, resting in the bottom of the bucket and free of the body that has sustained their brain throughout its life. I suspect they don’t feel much. I’ve been told that there is usually a flickering of the eyes, and some spasmodic movement of the mouth on occasion, but nothing more. Perhaps they are awake just long enough to realize that their crime has been avenged and they have been decapitated? Perhaps they have that realization. Perhaps. If so, then it’s only for a second or so. One certainty is that their eyes very quickly glass over and the face totally relaxes within seconds.

What makes this method so superior is that the person that has been guillotined will always become unconscious very quickly and will die from shock and anoxia due to massive hemorrhage and loss of blood pressure within seconds of the head being severed. This is always true, one hundred percent of the time. Some physicians argue that the human brain has enough oxygen stored in its tissues for metabolism to continue in some form for perhaps as long as seven seconds, but even if true, no other method of capital punishment requires so little preparation, and is so certain, and so fast, as is the guillotine. None.

And, it is without question probably the least cruel capital death ever devised. Further, it could be argued that it is not unusual either, not by a long shot. Historically, more than 40,000 men and woman have been guillotined, and not one of them suffered or struggled or begged, once the blade had been tripped and their heads had been severed. In every single case, the machine was 100 percent effective and the condemned had his life taken from him in a mere few seconds.

I personally believe that a man’s crime should be avenged. Murders deserve to lose their own life, and using a killing machine to chop off their heads sends the message loud and clear to the rest of society that murder has consequences. At the same time however, it gives the condemned man a quick death, and the method insures they will be executed cleanly and professionally, and as fast as possible. They never twitch on the end of a rope, or fight their restraints as electricity burns them alive.

They don't suffer either, and they don't have to worry that their execution will be botched. When the blade is tripped they are killed, and all of their thoughts end in seconds. There is almost no prep time, and so the prisoner can live a normal undisturbed routine until he is summoned. Nothing special has to be done, except to walk him to the machine, put his head in the lunette, and trip the blade. In almost every respect it’s the perfect execution machine. Sure, it is messy, but that adds to the deterrence factor, which is a primary argument for the justification of capital punishment in the first place. In fact, it could be argued that when society makes a death too clean and too sterile, then it loses the deterrence value. Not so with the guillotine.

Rapists too should pay, but not by being executed. While forced sexually penetration is demeaning and immoral, they still didn't kill anyone. But, the crime definitely needs to be avenged, and the best way to extract payment from them is to take their balls. Perhaps a guillotine for the balls would teach them a lesson? I believe that a man that is castrated after he rapes another person gets what he deserves, and once nutted will serve as a good deterrent for other men contemplating similar crimes. Further, a castrated rapist is unlikely to offend again when he gets out of prison, and everywhere he goes he serves to show others the cost of such a transgression.

If allowed to keep their balls, most rapists that are sentenced to a long prison sentence will continue to rape within the prison itself. They will change their targets, from girls to boys, but the effect is the same and they will still sexually penetrate their helpless victims cruelly and regularly. In our prison we castrate them all, and immediately, so it is not a problem. I’ve found that a rapist pretty much changes his behavior once he’s been castrated, and simply put, they don’t have the desire anymore so it ends their crime spree and deters others in the process. Yes, castrating a rapist is a win/win for society, and in my personal opinion it's good that we nut them all.

We had four young men come in last week, all Latino gang members who had raped a young girl. It was a brutal attack, and the poor girl will never be the same. Once they were convicted and sent here, I did them one after the other, stealing their stones from within their bags as they begged for it not to be done. I especially enjoyed the initial slice, when the scalpel is inserted just above a ball. I slice through the side of the scrotum, in a curving cut, and that opens their bag and allows me to pop out their testicle and then snip it off. I always do each nut separately, making two slits in their scrotums, partly because it allows them to better feel their castrations and in so doing I can more properly avenge their victim, at least in a small way.

One of the Latinos was just eighteen, barely a man, and he was crying like a little boy when I was nutting him. He bucked his hips and thrashed the entire time, his little thin dick laying limp across his belly as I opened his bag. His face was white, and he was scared to death. As I was taking out his balls he seemed very young, and his patch of pubic hair was sparse and seemed to emphasize his youthfulness. I'm not sure he had been shaving long. In contrast, the oldest of the four was twenty-six, with a full mustache, and he had a big boner and was hard as a piece of steal when I was taking out his balls. He had a very thick pole, and it jutted upward, proud. As I cut into his bag he ejaculated, grunting out his load as he bucked his hips and fought to stay a man. I almost laughed when I showed him his testicles, one by one, and his boner shrank immediately once I had them in my hand. The look on his face as he was unmanned was something to see, and it occurred to me that in the years to follow the other prisoners would be attracted to him as if he was a woman. Just before I had him taken away I lifted up his limp dick, and held it in my hands. It was a dead noodle, spent and satisfied, and without its balls I knew it would pretty much stay that way. On a whim I had his mustache shaved off, just because without his balls it somehow seemed out of place to me. I guess I just didn't think he was justified to keep it.

There was nothing special about the other two. They were both in their early twenties, with jet black hair and eyes to match, and they both fought like maniacs as I was taking out their balls. They sure didn't want to be neutered! Their ball sacs were of average size, just two ordinary sets of nuts, and there was nothing special in either of them. One of the two ejaculated as he was castrated, his dick hard and spurting, and the other one did not. It doesn’t make any difference to me, and in the end they were both neutered just the same. I'm sure the word will get back to their gang, and hopefully in the future their other members will learn from the lesson.

We run a good prison here. The men stay in line, and with the squibs controlling them we don't have many problems. It’s a good place to work, and I like my job. I admit that our institution isn't any picnic for the men inside, but I think we do things right, chopping off a deserving head now and then and removing a few testicles from time to time. Making men pay for their mistakes is important, and nobody wants to be sent here. Still, the prison runs well, and the inmates stay in line, and they understand their place and are made to pay for their mistakes. I suppose, in my way of thinking, that's what justice is all about.
