CHAPTER XI~

I woke only once during the night when the Big Bear pulled me tighter to him and reseated his huge dick deep in my Butt. I never slept so warm, full and relaxed since I’d been back from Nam. He had thrown a light comforter over us and I felt secure and comfortable in his big arms. I awoke the next morning with light streaming into the room feeling his big dick growing in my Butt filling me to the max.

I found my Giant Ring-Nosed Bear sitting up on one elbow looking at me. I looked into his deep set, beautiful, brown eyes! They were sad but loving. I reached up with my hand and gently lifted his nose ring out of the way and kissed him as I wiggled my ass as far down on his shaft as I could get it.

The big son of a bitch blushed! I couldn’t believe it! He had the heart of a school boy with a crush!

“You’ve been really good to me , Big Bear! Thanks for sharing your Man milk with me last night. I haven’t slept that sound and untroubled since I got back from Nam.

“Awh, t’weren’t nothing, Little Bear! Felt good having you suck it out of me. I don’t know what makes me produce the stuff but sometimes it builds up in there. You did me a favor! You almost drained me. You were sucking and kneading my chest after you were sound asleep. Never had anyone do that before. You were like my Baby Cub I was feeding!”

“You captured my heart last night Little Cub! I’ve always dreamed of having a Little Brother Cub that I could take care of and would love me for who I am, a big ugly Bear! I don’t want to let you go but I know we might see each other again and I want what we had last night to be good memories! I want you to like me!”

“I do like you Master Bear and my memories of last night are wonderful, I guarantee you! Please take me again this morning, Master Bear! I really would appreciate it!”

“I’d love to fuck you again but Master’s already quietly opened the door once to see if you were awake and I waved him away. He’s downstairs getting breakfast so we better get in the shower and get cleaned up.”

“You let me worry about that, Big Bear! I’ll tell him it was my fault ‘cause I ordered you to take me again and he told you to follow my orders. Besides that, you’re way up inside me and you already have me primed for a good Bear fuck!”

“He did say that, didn’t he, Cub? I really need to fuck you good this morning, Cub! That little ass of your’s is so ready for a big Bear load, I can feel it trying to suck it out of me! So lay back, relax and let your Master Bear do us both some good!”

Woah!! And indeed he did! He worked me up slowly until he was riding me harder that he had the night before. My ass hole had given way to his persistent onslaughts of long dicking and hard riding! I opened up to him like a flower in full bloom. I couldn’t even tighten my muscle anymore for him, but it didn’t seem to matter.

All of a sudden he started hitting something deep inside me that made my whole body start to vibrate. He new I was near and ordered me to come. He didn’t have to ask twice as I let go a huge volley into his fur and once again I felt him emptying his big Bear load deep into my ass. It felt warm and wonderful as he shot volley after volley of his hot Bear come further in me that any Man had ever done. It felt like he was filling my tank with his fluids.

He was pleased the way he had gotten both of us off but seemed a little nervous and frustrated.
“What’sa matter, Big Bear?! You done us good! Why the worried face?”
“I can do much better and I didn’t get all mine out. I could have given you a lot more to carry around in you for today! I wanted you to have all of me!”

He meant it as an act of Bonding and love he felt for me. An honor to carry as much of his seed in my gut as he could pump into me.

“Come on then, Master Bear! I’ll suck you off in the shower!” I don’t think he believe me but I did. I skinned his big foreskin back and started going down on him and about the fifth try to take him as far down my throat as I could he shot one Hell of a load in my mouth. I sucked it down as greedily as my ass had taken it.

He moaned, growled and pitched his hips forward as he shot several times into my waiting mouth. He had his own distinctive flavor. He TASTED like Bear! A wild masculine taste flavored with Clover Honey! All Bear’s love Clover Honey! “You have all of me in you, Cub! I’ll become a part of you now!”

He held me tight to him under the hot water of the shower and continued to moan and growl as he once again felt every part of my body. It was like he was blind and trying to memorize me by feel. He gently raised his nose ring and I put my face up to his for his kiss. He was sweet, gentle but underneath a controlled Beast. I could love this Man deeply. I know he could love me deeply! Deeper than any Man ever had to that point!

I bathed him and washed every part of his big body. He even let me clean his ass out with my fingers and some soap. He laughed at me as I was very gentle with him. I toweled him dry. A chore which took three giant size bath towels to accomplish. His hairy body just held the water. Then I took my hair dryer and blew him dry. He loved that! Especially when I rubbed his big Bear back as I was drying his fur.

Then I found some body power and lightly powered his big body. He smelled and looked wonderful. He was fluffed and powdered. He looked for all the world like the meanest Goddamned Teddy Bear any little Boy or Girl has ever had on her bed.

I helped him get dressed and with one last kiss we headed for the door.
“You can’t call me Master Bear outside this room, Sweet Bear Cub!”

“I know Master Bear!” I got to my knees and kissed both his big boots and found his eager hand waiting. I gently kissed the back and placed it to my forehead.
“Rise Brother Cub and give me a good morning kiss!” I did. He had tears in his big eyes.

“I love you, Cowboy!”

“I love you too, Big Bear!”

We went downstairs with me leading him, holding his giant paw. We came into the room where our two Master’s were. They saw us holding hands and smiled to each other. I went to Red and knelt in front of him and kissed his boots. We went through the ritual and I hugged and kissed him good morning. Big Griz did the same with Bro. Red, his Master!

“He take good care of you,Young’un?” Bro. Red asked me.
“The best of care, Master Red!” I went to him and knelt in front of him and kissed each of his boots. He went through the ritual with me.

“Rise, pretty Cowboy and show this Master your love!” I threw my arms around him, hugged and kissed him. He didn’t hold back and put a great deal of affection in his kiss!

“Damn, Little Brother, you ain’t had no slave boy in years but when you decided to pick this one you chose the pick of the litter!”

“He is kinda pretty, ain’t he Bro.!” Red joked with his Brother.
“Did that Giant Bear get all fifteen inches up your little chute last night?” My Master joked with me.

“He did indeed, Master! Slept all night riding that big thing! I wouldn’t let him take it out of me! I ordered him to fuck me good again this morning and sucked it off once in the shower. For the next two weeks you’re gonna’ have to fuck me two times right in a row to satisfy me!” Red just howled with laughter.

“And what do you have to say for yourself, Big’un!” His Master asked.

]“Thank you, Master, for letting me take care of Cowboy! He’s a wonderful young man who’s thoughtful and kind. I love him, Master!” I was shocked that Big Bear Griz would be so bold with his Master.

Bro. Red walked over to the Big Man and put his arms around him. “Glad to hear that Griz! I can’t help but love him too! Glad he was good to you! For all my shit I put you through, you know I love you!”

“Yes Master, I do! Cowboy doesn’t think I’m ugly, Master!”

“I don’t either you big Ox. I love you just the way you are!”

“Holy shit! You smell good this morning!” Bro. Red sniffed around Gris’s neck.

“Cowboy bathed, dried and powered me, Master Red! He done a good job, didn’t he?”

“Wonderful job! I can see the two of you bonded pretty well! That’s good!”

I was glad to see that Bro. Red knew when Griz needed encouragement. Griz got the biggest smile on his face and I winked at him. He blushed again! He was a treasure!

We had breakfast and not a word was said about them having a conversation. Griz and I looked at each other and shrugged. I just gave him a look of, “Well, let’s just be patient and see what happens. He picked up on my signal and agreed.

I’ve never seen a Man put away as much food as Griz did in my life. Even my Master was stunned. I guess Big Men need a lot of food. He wasn’t particularly over weight. In fact he was quite trim and had the abs of an eighteen year old. I couldn’t tell how old he really was but I would guess him to be about six or seven years older than me.

Later that morning Bro. Red and I had a few minutes alone while Red was showing something to Griz about our Bikes.
“Will you let me know when he starts getting bad, Son?”

“You don’t even have to ask, Master! You know I will! I’m gonna’ need all the love and support I can get. I don’t think I can say goodbye to him, Master Red!”
I turned and started to the house ‘cause I started feeling my eyes start to tear.
He followed me and took me in his arms.

“Thank God, he’s got someone like you, Cowboy! Someone that loves him and will stick with him to the end. Do you have any idea where he wants to spend his final days?”

“He mentioned either at Master Walker’s or my Dad’s place in Mason. I’d rather him be at the Johnson Ranch because of the close proximity to the greater Dallas/Ft. Worth area medical centers. Or even L.A. to be near the Doctor’s at U.C.L.A. Medical center. They were the ones to diagnosed his condition. I don’t really know for sure, Master! How are you taking the news?” He breathed deeply and exhaled slowly.

“Not too well, Son! He’s my Baby Brother and I practically raised him. We’ve been close for years although in the last several years he’s been on that damn Bike so much I don’t get to see him that often. I’m surprised he stopped by here! e can be an ornery independent cuss when he wants to be. I read all about the two of you saving that Arab Prince’s life.”

“He also told me you saved his life this year and clipped the varmints what were gonna’ do him in! I had a lot more respect for you after he told me that, Son! You and your Uncle have always been tops in my book but the way my Little Brother told me that story last night, he had us both laughing and spoke of you and the way you handled the situation in reverent tones.”

“He worships the ground you walk on, Cowboy and I can’t say I’m far behind him in that feeling. Now you got a Giant Bear in your corner!” He laughed to lighten the mood.

“I’m afraid Griz and I bonded last night, Master Red! I love him too! He was right! I don’t see him as ugly. I see him as a Man is supposed to look. You’re one lucky Man to have won him in that card game.”

“He thinks I don’t know he cheated to let me win!” Red kinda giggled.
“I can’t say, Master Red!”

“You DO love him, Cowboy! I know damn well he told you and you won’t betray the big Man’s trust! I like that, Son! Tell’s me a lot about you! I don’t expect you to betray mine either! Just thought you’d find that amusing. I love him more than I let him know. He hopes to make some Man a fine Master one day but he needs a bit more training as a slave to knock off some of the rough edges. To be honest with you I don’t know if he could survive out there as a Master with a slave. He, himself, needs more control than he realizes!"

"The son of a bitch has saved my life five times. You have to love a Man that will put his own life on the line to save yours. Just like you did with Booger!”

"Well, I didn’t do nothing special. It was five against one and I just evened the odds a little with a sturdy chunk of two by three. Worked right nice to calm them boys down!” He laughed at my obvious oversimplification of the facts.

Red and I stayed one more evening with his Brother and Griz. Red and I stayed together that evening and I talked to him.
“How did your talk with your Brother go, Master?”
“Lots of crying and holding each other. I’m exhausted and need some tender loving care from my slave boy!”

“You got it, Master! Anything you need, I’m here!”
“We need to get out of here tomorrow. I love my Brother but he can be overpowering. He’s a strong figure of a Man and I’ve always been a bit intimidated by him. I don’t feel comfortable around him.

We left the next morning. I could tell Red’s Brother was upset that we weren’t staying longer. I made excuses for us that there was an illness in my Family and we had to get to Mason. Red thanked me later for that.

I said my private goodbyes to Griz. I had grown quite fond of him while we were there. I had several opportunities to talk quietly with him away from the two Masters. He was reasonable but convinced that someday he would have me for his. I didn’t encourage him because my life was already a mess in that department but I didn’t discourage him either! I knew what it was to have your hopes and dreams dashed!

Red and I rode back to Mason to visit for a while. It was like homecoming! Cowboy was home again! Red just wanted to relax and let me go. He wanted me to go and be with my friends and Relatives.

Red just wanted to relax and have me be with him in the evenings. I could tell he was slowing down. Things were not working right for him anymore. He could still ride his Bike but his sense of balance was making that difficult. His vision would sometime blur for hours at a time and then come right back. He’d be O.K. for a while.

I asked him several times to quit riding the Bike. He wouldn’t until one afternoon we were riding around the town and his vision cut out. He had enough sense to stop dead in the street where he was and let me help him with his Bike to the curb. He was getting scared.

I took him home and Dad drove me back to get his Bike. I pulled it into Dad’s big barn of a Garage and it never came out again. Red decided that he wanted to die there in Mason. I wanted him to be near a larger city to be closer to the Medical Facilities. His reason was that they couldn’t do anything for him anyway, why bother.

He just felt comfortable there in the big house with me, Lester, Dad and Uncle Joe. Ben had flown out to be with us for a week and that lifted Red’s spirits. He always loved to sit and talk with Ben for hours. Tim came with Ben that time and spent most of his time with me. We became more close and he was a great support during Red’s decline in health.

I thought sure Red would have wanted to spend his final days in L.A. or Glen Rose but he didn’t. Dad, Uncle Joe and Lester had no problem with it. They went about their lives and pretty much left us to ourselves. We had taken over the newer bedroom that my Family had originally fixed up for Ben and I. It was clean and comfortable. It was sunny most of the day and Red loved it!

The fifth week we were there Red’s eyesight went all together. He could barely make out shapes. His balance was almost gone to where he had to be in the bed to protect himself from falling. I couldn’t even carry him to the bath. I had to do everything that week for him. Then I hired around the clock nurses to help with him.

The Doctors had told us that once the vision and balance went that he would slip into a coma and may be that way for a week or two and then pass. It was hard for me to watch a strong vibrant Man that I loved so dearly waste away in front of my eyes. I still slept with him every night. I’d hold him all night long and pray that Buck and Uncle Bud would come for him soon.

We had a steady stream of visitors. His Family from L.A. all rode out to say goodbye. Harry, Ben, Tim , Master Walker, Xander and even Leon rode his Bike to Mason to say goodbye to him. He couldn’t see or sit up too well but he knew who they were and was so delighted that they came to tell him goodbye.

I called his Brother and Griz to come to Mason.
“How is he?” Asked his Brother.
“He’s still sitting up but he’s blind and just before going into coma. I think you should come to say your goodbyes, Master Red, before he lapses.”

He and Griz were there the next day. They spent the day, one night, and the next day with us before leaving to go back to Houston. I think his Brother was relieved that he didn’t have to be there when Red passed.

I was holding up better than I thought I would. I was being strong for Red when I wanted to run and rage at everything Holy and beat someone or anything up with my fist! We lay together for hours at a time and talked.

“What do you think it will be like, Billy?”
“I know what it will be like, Master! I’ve been there! You’ll simply rise out of your body when Buck, Uncle Bud and the Cowboys, Ken and Rowley all come for you. They’ll take your hand and lead you home.”

“How can you be so sure!” He asked in fear.
“Buck told me months ago that he and my Uncle would be there to help you pass over and you wouldn’t have to make that journey by yourself. A lot of people have to find their own way. You have friends and loved ones over there that will guide you!”

“Well, you’ve never lied to me, Cowboy! Don’t see any reason you’d start now!”

Red had made sure that all his money and personal belonging were signed over to me. He had a little over a quarter of a million dollars in the bank. The only personal property he owned was a small cabin in the Desert in Morongo Valley in California. He never told me about that cabin.

Red finally slipped into a coma the fifth week we were in Mason and remained that way for a week and a half. I still slept with him every night and held him all night long. I sat with him all day and most times held his hand. He knew I was there.

I would talk to him by the hour holding his hand. I would talk about the damnedest shit. Some funny, some good, wonderful sex we had, some beautiful things we saw together on our trip across the U.S.!

But when I got to something that really touched him I could feel him gently squeeze my hand to let me know he heard me. His light was going out of him but he was still in there.

The town folk were wonderful. Suzie and Louise brought food for him and me from the restaurant. Someone was forever dropping off a pot of homemade soup, a pie, a beautiful cake. They knew we were suffering and they all had been there and back. They just wanted to say they cared but they didn’t want to intrude. Aunt Laura came and sat with me several days. I appreciated her being there!

Wednesday morning of the seventh week around eight thirty in the morning Red woke up. He sat up and looked around and could see. I thought God had given us a miracle. Maybe he had gone into spontaneous remission.

“Red! It’s good to see you again, Master!”
“You don’t know how good it is to see your sweet face, Cowboy!”
“Do you think you’re getting better, Master! Maybe going into remission?”
“No, Son! God’s just given me this morning to be with you to say goodbye!

You were right about Buck, your Uncle and the Cowboys. I met them all last night. Great bunch of guys! No wonder you love them so much! That Ken White is a funny little dude! Had me laughing my ass off!“Well, you met Ken, alright! Red, I don’t think I can tell you goodbye again!” I started crying again as he held me in his arms.

“There, there, Sweet Baby! We won’t have to say goodbye! Your Uncle told me to tell you, “On down the road, Cowboy! On down the road!” I cried again knowing that would be exactly what Uncle Bud would tell him to say! Buck too!

“Your not afraid anymore, are you Master?”
“No, Son, I’m not! You were right all along! I guess I just never learned to trust you about those things but that was my fault. You never once gave me any reason to doubt you.”

“You were the one great love of my life, Cowboy and I want to thank you for picking me out of all those handsome Men that first night at the Johnson Ranch! You’ll never know what that did for me. I loved you from that moment on and you were right again. It just felt right between us! Still does! Always will.”

“You have to promise me something!”
“What’s that, Master?”

“Once I’m gone and in the ground I want you to run to Dan Yates’s arms, Son! on’t hesitate and don’t even start to grieve for me until you’re with that Man! He loves you, needs you and you need him! He’s waited long enough for your love and you’ve been more than faithful to me, so make me that promise. I won’t rest thinking you’re wasting precious time grieving for me when you could be in that Man’s arms loving him and doing what grieving for me you need to. He can help you though it when no one else can, Son!”

I started crying again. “I promise, Master! It’ll be hard but I’ll do as you ask!”

“I know you, Cowboy! You’ll want to spend a year grieving for me before you go to him! Don’t!! Go to him immediately! I’ve already talked to your Dad and told him the same thing! He agrees with me.”

“I’ve been accused of being jealous of your love for Dan, but the God’s honest truth is, you never gave me a minutes doubt of your love for me, so how could I have been jealous?”

“Now, I can’t leave you knowing you’re gonna’ be hurtin’ for a year or more missing me! Don’t do that to me, Cowboy! It was hard enough to have you watch me die let alone the idea that you were gonna’ spend your precious time in life being miserable grieving for me!”

I cried my heart out in his big arms knowing that the end was near and that he realized it too. I never understood before just how much Red really loved me and what a big a heart he had. He had to know, as my Master, when he was gone that I would obey his last request.

Red sat up and ate some toast and jam, drank a cup of coffee and chatted with my Family. They all had come in to say goodbye one last time. I had alerted them to the fact that the end was near. The Nurse was amazed that he was lucid and could see. She had seen this sort of thing before and confirmed that the time was near.

Red wanted to take a nap and I let the Nurse take a long lunch break. I sat by his side on the bed holding him in my arms, not moving for fear of waking him. I began to see the curtains move softly in the breeze and knew that we were not alone in the room.

“O.K., Guy’s! I know you’re here! May as well let me see you!”
First I saw Uncle Bud smiling down standing there! Then Buck, Ken and Rowley appeared to me. My ‘Celestial Cowboys’!

I looked at them and Rowley had gained some weight. Filled out to look just like his Dad. Handsome Man!
“You’ve gained weight, Rowley!”

“I knew he’d notice, Guys! Yeah! Ken likes me a little heavier. Says it all turns to cock at midnight!” They all had a good laugh. “We been Rodeoing hard over here and I’ve just been eatin’ more!”

“You Rodeo over there?”
“What da’ ya’ think? We sit around and play harps all damn day?”
“Well, I just never thought........Oh, well, it’s good to see you all again!”

I reached over and kissed Red on the forehead to wake him and his eyes opened. He could see them too!”
“Guys, I want you to thank the Big Guy for letting me have this morning to say goodbye!”

“Come with us, Red and you can thank him yourself! It’s time! We’ve come to take you home.” They smiled at Red and Uncle Bud spoke to me.

“You have to tell him he can go, Cowboy! He wants to hang on to you ‘cause he’s worried about you! He wants to know you’ll obey his wishes and go to Dan Yates after he’s gone!”

“I can’t do that, Uncle Bud, don’t ask me, I can’t!! It isn’t alright for him to go and leave me! It wasn’t alright for you, Buck, Ken and Rowley to go and leave me! How the Hell can I tell this Man it’s alright if’n I don’t believe it in my own heart? Furthermore, I don’t know if I can love someone again right away and it would only confuse Dan. I can’t do that to him!”

“You HAVE to, Son! Remember a long time ago, you and I had a conversation in which I told you there comes a time when we must say goodbye to all things in life, even life itself?”

“As far as Dan is concerned, you have to give him that option. Be brutally honest with him if you wish, but don’t leave Dan out of the equation! You need him, he needs you and together you’ll find the way! Trust me! Trust Dan Yates! But most importantly, trust me that Red needs to know you’ll be alright. He won’t come with us unless you do!”

“Oh God, Uncle Bud! I don’t think I can!!”
“Be strong, Cowboy,” Added Buck, “Set your Master free! We’ve come for him. Unless he goes with us he’ll wander around by himself trying to see to your happiness and he won’t be able to find the way the longer he hangs around!”

I kissed Red gently on the mouth and he returned it.
“Red you know I love you but what I’m about to tell you may be the single hardest thing I’ve ever had to do in my life! Listen carefully, Master! It’s alright to go with them! I’ll be O.K.!” I broke down and started crying but then found the strength to finish, “Maybe not for a while but I’ll be alright. I promise I’ll do as you asked and go to Buck’s Dad. I love you so much, Red! I promise to go to Dan but you must promise to go with Uncle Bud and the Cowboys!” I hugged him and cried.

“I love you too, Cowboy! I always will! You’ve never lied to me so I know you’ll do as I ordered. I promise, I’ll go with them! God bless you, Son!” He breathed deeply and was gone. Then he appeared with the ‘Cowboys’, smiled at me, gave me an O.K., thumbs up sign and left with them out of the door to the room.

The nurse came into the room just then and asked who those Cowboys were that just left the room. She could have sworn one of ‘em was Sheriff Cummings and one of ‘em looked like Red! I smiled and told her the truth. She didn’t believe me and took Red’s pulse. I sat on the side of the bed and quietly told her he was gone. He left with the Cowboys!

I sat there for an hour or more holding Red’s hand. She noted the time of Death for the Doctor to sign the Death Certificate. I let her go and asked her to send my Dad up.

Dad came into the room and held me as I cried in his big arms. He comforted me and soothed me. He went downstairs and called the funeral home in our small town. They came and picked up Red’s body and took it away. Dad and I made all the arrangements that day. Red wanted to be buried there in Mason in our Family plot and his Brother didn’t have any objections.

His funeral was three days later. I was amazed. The entire town shut down and came to Red’s funeral. Motorcycles started arriving early the afternoon before the day of the funeral from all over the U. S. Ben, Harry, Tim, Keashan, Cal and Steve flew in from Reno. The entire Family from L. A. came.

Master Jeb, Big Jim, Master Earl D., Wes, Master Zack, Big Beryl, Master Sam, Big Bull, Charlie and about a hundred other various Family members.

There was well over five hundred Motorcycles parked in front of our small church. Red’s Brother and Griz could not believe the turn out of people. There was standing room only and people standing on the walk and lawn in front of the Church.

My Family from Glen Rose came. Leon, Master Walker and Xander plus their household help.

When everyone had gathered and just before the service was to start a huge black limo pulled up out front. Ben’s Father and body guards got out walked into the Church The crowd parted to allow him entry . He went to Red’s casket and laid a single Red Rose on top.

It was the sweetest gesture any Man could have made. He came to me and hugged me and I broke down in his big arms. He comforted me. I composed myself and spoke to him.

“Please, your Highness, won’t you join our Family, your Family as well!”
In stilted English he replied. “I would be honored, my Son!” He sat next to me and held my hand through out the service. I was so glad he came and he had no idea how much that simple gesture and his presence meant to me.

Our town was agog over the Sultan of Bahrain coming to their town for Booger Red’s Funeral. Red’s Brother knew the Sultan personally and they renewed their acquaintance. Big Red and Booger had worked many times in Bahrain putting out oil rig fires. The Sultan remembered Griz and shook his hand.

After we had taken Red to the Grave yard and said our goodbyes there was to be a reception and picnic in the town park. The women of the town had gone all out cooking and providing food. I had arranged food through the Diner as well.

I had paid a couple thousand for food from them and tipped Louise and Suzie five hundred each to help. I wouldn’t have had to! They would have done it ‘cause they loved me but it made me feel better. They could always use it for something. Waitress in small towns don’t make much!

Even the Sultan and his Men joined us. Everyone displayed the proper respect and gave him his privacy with us. Tim was at his side translating and helping the Sultan with his English.

He was getting a lot better with his English and was able to join in on conversations. You never saw such a mixed crowd of people in your life. The Sultan was amazed that I introduced Lester as one of my Dads.

Tim explained that Lester had been a Family member for years, lived with my Dad and Uncle Joe and helped raise me. He understood the concept immediately and he and Lester immediately became good friends.

Everyone had almost finished eating when a newer pickup truck pulled up and Tim ran to it immediately. In it was his Mother and Dan Yates. I was right behind Tim. I ran to his arms and hugged Both Mrs. Russell and Dan.

“I didn’t know whether to come or not.” He said nervously. “But your Dad and Mrs. Russell urged me too so we jumped in the truck and came. Hope it’s alright!”

“It’s more than alright, Dad! It’s wonderful to see you and you are more than welcome. I means more to me than you will ever know that you came!” I kissed him on the cheek. Tim took his Mother by the hand to meet the Sultan and I took Dan Yates’s hand to meet him as well.

The Sultan was having a great time. He was a people Man and loved to meet all kinds of people but he always wanted to know who was related to whom and how these people were connected.

He made a number of associations and connections himself. He knew that Dan Yates was Buck’s Father and expressed his deepest sympathies for the loss of his Son. Of course Master Ben came over and hugged Mrs. Russell and Dan. He had become big friends with Dan and went with Tim to visit the Ranch regularly.

It was a lovely day. One that Booger would have been proud of. I know he was there watching. I was sad but I had so much love around me I couldn’t stop long enough to be morose. Red wouldn’t want me to be. I got the feeling sometime he was next to me, whispering in my ear, “Enjoy yourself, accept the love, I’m with you!”

The Sultan fell in love with my Dad and Uncle Joe. He thought they were two of the finest Men he’d ever met. The Twissleman’s came and met Ben’s Dad. Little Sister was all a’ twitter but Mrs. Twissleman was the picture of dignity and grace. She would have been at home on the Ranch or in a palace. She knew how to charm! Mr. Twissleman was equally charming, bragging about the Sultan’s Son, Ben, and how much his Family thought of him! He could have been a diplomat.

The next day was Saturday and everyone was hinting about having a Rodeo.
They didn’t want to push but I asked Dad what he thought.
“What do you think Booger would have wanted you to do, Son!”
“Rodeo Dad! He would have told me to Rodeo!”
“You’re exactly right! Nothing would have made him happier!”

I stood up and announced that tomorrow with be the first Annual Booger Red Rodeo in honor of my friend and partner. Everyone is invited, especially our Royal guests, and my two roping partners, Dan Yates and Phil Roamer will take on all challengers.

The Sultan and his Men drove back into San Antonio to the Hilton and stayed the night but were back for the Rodeo early the next morning. The Twisselman’s were there as well. Dad had left Dolly and Madison with Phil and I had sent them money every other month or so for their up keep. Dan, Ben, Tim and I rode out to Phil and Wilma Jo’s in Uncle Bud’s old truck to load them and bring them to the rodeo grounds.

They were so glad to see me again it was all I could do to get Madison settled down. Of course, Dolly had become Ben’s Pony for all practical purposes. She loved him and he had come to love her. Every time he came to Mason he wanted to drive out to Phil’s and Wilma Jo’s to see her. He was always welcome and Wilma Jo would insist he stay for dinner. He came to love Phil and Wilma Jo as much as I did!

Ben spoiled Dolly rotten! He rode around with Tim behind him and his Dad smiled and waved at the two of them. Ben and Tim made a handsome Western couple. If you didn’t know you wouldn’t know that Ben wasn’t just another Buckaroo. Tim had worn Western clothes all his life and looked authentic.

Tim had been teaching his Master to rope. They had a long way to go but they were good enough to enter the competition. That’s the only way you get better, to go up against really fine ropers. It’s one thing to do it in practice and another altogether to compete. Your adrenaline is a great factor whether you win, place, or show!

The Sultan had two of his guards taking photos with expensive cameras.
Dad and Uncle Joe were primed and ready to reclaim their local number one status. We had several mixed teams. I was roping with Phil and Dan. Dan Yates and I didn’t have but one or two chances to practice but we still had it! Dan never missed. He was riding Dolly and she knew he knew what he was doing. She read his mind! Madison and Dolly had worked together for years and knew just what to do and when to do it.

Surprisingly, Ben and Tim made it through the first elimination rounds. They were getting a lot of support from the crowd. They were favorites and the Sultan couldn’t have been prouder. Phil and I made our catch and advance to the next round. So did Dan and I. Ed and Toller Twissleman advanced as did my Dad and Uncle Joe. They were looking really good. Dad had sprung for new outfits for him and Uncle Joe. They had good looking new hats and handsome Western shirts. Dad wore his old worn batwing chaps and so did Uncle Joe.

They looked like two old Buckaroos. Ben sported his Chaps Dad, Uncle Joe and Lester had given him plus his beautiful vest Lester had made for him. He also was wearing the belt I made! He had bought Tim a full outfit as well. They fit right in!

We came to the next round and Ben and Tim didn’t get their catch. Neither did Phil and I. The calf bolted in the wrong direction and cut in front of Madison and he couldn’t get his rope to it! However, Dan and I were the best time in that round and the Twissleman’s were second. Dad and Uncle Joe were third.

The next round Dan and I went first we bested our time from the previous round. We were hot! “And that’s the way it’s done! Ladies and Gentlemen!” The announcer said on the loud speaker.

Ed and Toller Twissleman went next. Ed got his rope around the calf’s neck right out of the chute but try as he may Toller got frustrated and couldn’t catch the hinders. They were out.

Dad and Uncle Joe almost beat Dan and my time. We were down to the final round. Dan and I went first. He winked at me as if to say, “You and me Kid! We can do it!” And we did! We broke the time barrier and Dan had his rope on the Calf immediately! Madison had barely cleared the gate and I had a rope on the hinders. Both horses worked perfectly together and the catch was timed. It was the best time of the day.

Dad and Uncle Joe went next and the crowd was standing. You could have heard a pin drop in that Arena as everyone wanted to know who was gonna’ come out on top of the rivalry between my Dad and I.

The two good looking Cowboy’s came out of their gates and Dad had his rope on that calf’s neck quicker than greased lightening and damned if Uncle Joe didn’t hit the hinders as well. Tucker, Dad’s horse, stumbled but not seriously. But it was just enough to cost them the win. Dan and I won by one half second.

The crowd went crazy cheering and hollering for Dan and I. Dad got down from Tucker, came over to me and pulled me off Madison. He spun me around as he hugged me. Uncle Joe was next. Dad went to Dan and took his hand. He pulled him down too and hugged him.

The Twissleman’s and everyone had entered the Arena to congratulate us. It was one of the best times I could remember of my Rodeo days. Dan and I were together and I knew nothing would separate us again! Red smiled! He knew I’d be alright!

We broke for Lunch and once again the food that was spread was unbelievable. The Sultan complemented the Women. He told them he had come to see the Rodeo but he had really come for the good food! He won their hearts. I ordered more food from the diner and Louise and Suzie refused my tip this time. They wanted to do something for all of us. They were loves and I thanked them before all the assembled. They both blushed.

We continued all the other events after lunch into late evening. The Sultan stayed for the whole thing. Dan and I, and our Family joined him in the stands and had a wonderful time watching the younger Rodeo riders in the different events.

The Sultan’s Men were taking hundreds of pictures. They must have been really tired at the end of the day. Everyone learned the names of the Sultan’s Men and they were included like Family. They had as good a time as the Sultan. Ben was in Heaven that his Father had come to see a world and people that he was getting to know and love.

He could walk down the street and people would smile and wave to him. Shake his hand and call him Ben. He loved being able to be just another person.

Finally the Sultan and his Men departed and returned to San Antonio. Ben and Tim stayed behind with our Family and we had a great evening visiting. It was a good day. One that both Booger and I could be proud of. It was a great testament to his memory.

Two days later I loaded my Bike in the back of Dan Yates’s truck. Dan, Ben, Tim and I rode out to Phil and Wilma Jo’s to get Uncle Buds truck and horse trailer.

We loaded Dolly and Madison and hooked the trailer to the back of the truck. I drove back into town to join my Family at the diner for breakfast. Phil, Wilma Jo and the Kids followed us in.

We had a great breakfast and everyone in town knew that Cowboy was going to live with Dan Yates in Tucson. They all came to wish us well. I bought breakfast for everyone in the place and again tipped Louise and Suzie fifty buck. They were all tears to see me go again but knew they’d see me soon.

My Dad was thrilled that Dan and I were getting together. I told him that it was what Booger wanted and made me promise I would.

“Old Booger knew you pretty well, Son! You would have grieved for him for a year or more before you went near Dan and that Man loves you like no other! Red was right to make you promise that!”

I left Red’s Bike for my Dad and Uncle Joe. I offered it to his Brother and he didn’t want it. I offered him half the money Red left me and he just hugged me and told me to keep it. “Some day you may need it to take care of some one you didn’t expect in your life. By the way, Cowboy, we’ll keep in touch with you and Dan but you’re in my will if anything should happen to me.”

Ben and Tim rode with me back to Tucson following Dan and Mrs. Russell. Some time we changed off and Mrs. Russell would ride with me and Tim and Ben would ride with Dan. It seemed like a short trip we had so much to talk about and catch up on. Tim was growing into a Man of the World. He had dual Citizenship and was a recognized member of the Royal Family of Bahrain.

So was I. Ben made sure that official documents were drawn up to show my dual Citizenship. I too, was a recognized member of the Royal Family. Poor Steve never made it to Princess status but he settled for being Royalty. Except Cal jokingly referred to him many times as ‘The Princess slave’ and ‘His Royal Highness’ my slave!

The first thing I had to do upon getting back to the Ranch in Tucson was visit Buck’s grave. I didn’t cry this time. I went by myself and took flowers. I took a hoe and shovel to clean any weeds or debris. It was a beautiful day and I talked to him like he was there. He was! I told him how much I missed Red, him and the ‘Celestial Cowboys’. That I was happy now and none of them had to worry about me. Red knew what he was doing when he made me promise to be with Dan. I loved him all the more for that!

Suddenly, in the still summer air a cool blast of air surrounded me and I heard the voice of Red. “Be happy, Cowboy! That’s all I ever wanted for you! Serve Dan Yates well. He is a Man of great worth! A Man of great love and you deserve that!” I fell to my knees and started crying. “Damn you Red! I was doing alright!” I yelled laughing. “Now you made me cry! But thanks, Red! You know I love you!” And I was O.K.!

I knew that I could come visit either grave from then on and would be alright.

Dan drove with me to L.A. to visit Master Jeb and Big Jim. All the Family came and Big Beryl brought his new slave. I damn near shit my pants when I saw who his new slave was. Blaine took one look at me and we were in each other’s arms laughing, hugging and kissing.

“I take it you two have met!” Big Beryl said wryly.
“You might say that, Master Beryl!” I laughingly told him. They were staying with Master Zack and looking for a place. They invited us out for a weekend in the desert.

We drove out the desert and the whole Family came to party at Master Zacks. I had the deed and map to the small cabin Red had left me not far from there in Morongo Valley.

We rode with Master Earl, Wes, Beryl, Blain, Zack, Bull and Charlie to find it. Master Jeb and Big Jim followed on their bikes. We found the gate and I had the key. We drove through and had to drive about a mile back into these boulders before we came upon this beautiful little two bedroom cabin nestled in among the rocks.

It looked like no one had been there in years! I had the keys and we went in. There wasn’t much furniture but it was solidly built and hadn’t been vandalized. There was a hot water spring bubbling up out of the ground behind the house and running off into the desert to disappear underground again. It was spacious and when we opened all the windows it was airy.

Big Beryl fell in love with it! So did Blaine. No one knew that Red owned a cabin in this area and we never found out how he came by it. I didn’t know what we would do with it. I got Dan aside.

“What do you want to do with this place, Dad?”
“It’s yours, Cowboy! Do with it what you will. It’s kinda far for us to take care of. And it’s ashamed to let it be unoccupied. I knew what he was thinking.”

We were standing around having a Beer that Beryl had stopped and pick up on the way.
“You want to sell it Cowboy?”
“Why? You and Blaine interested in it, Master Beryl?”
“We’ve been looking and haven’t found anything this big or this nice around here. It’s dirty as Hell but a little elbow grease and two week ends with the Family out here and it would be livable.”

“Nawh! Don’t want to sell it! But if you and Blaine want it I’ll sign the Deed over to you for a Dollar!” You could have heard a pin drop in the desert.“You’re fooling with me, Cowboy?!”

“Gimme’ a Dollar and it’s yours!” Big Beryl whipped out a dollar faster’n a flea on a dog. I got a pen and signed it over to him.

Everyone roared with laughter and applause. They were patting us on the backs and Big Beryl hugged and kissed both Dan and I.

“You always have been one of the most generous people I’ve ever known, Cowboy! In more ways than one! I love you, Son! You and Dan will always be welcome here! Give ya’ll a set of keys and you don’t even have to call, just come!” He laughed as he hugged me and spun me around. Damn, he was a big Man!.

We didn’t waste time. We all pitched in and started cleaning. By the time we left it looked pretty damn good. I told Big Beryl to get a quit claim deed at a stationary shop and I would quit claim it over to him. He could either get a Realtor to help him or go directly to the County records off ice and ask them how to record a quit claim deed.

I couldn’t have done a better thing! Both Beryl and Blaine were thrilled with the place. They lived there together for many years and many parties were held for the Family at that desert cabin. I know Red was smiling!

About eight years after Dan and I had been together we got a phone call from Big Beryl and Blaine. Wes had been killed in a plane crash. Dan and I were both devastated as we had Master Earl and Wes as guest at the Ranch many times.

They were so much in love that everyone that was around them felt better just by having them around. Master Earl had realized that he too had fallen in love with Wes even though they hadn’t been having sex all those early months together. But once they did, there was no other for them.

Master Earl was a vegetable after Wes died.. We drove to Los Angeles to be with him for Wes’s funeral. We stayed with him several days. Then we had him out to the Ranch for his vacation after that to make sure he wasn’t alone.

We made several trips into LA to stay with him a week or two at a time. He slowly got better and continued to ride to Tucson with his Brothers over the years.

Then, by chance, he stopped some young Man speeding to Master Jeb and Jim’s to enter slave training and ultimately bought him. He was the same Man that had rescued Blaine and Wes from a Cong temporary POW holding camp.

His name was Beau! A handsome Man! We looked enough alike everyone thought we were brothers. When he got dressed up in his Western clothes people had a hard time telling us apart. I was a little older than Beau but we became fast friends and remain so to this day.

Beau was an educated Man and encouraged my interest in reading and writing Poetry. He has included several of my Poems in an Anthology he recently published. “The Song’s of Male Bondings”.

Dan and I settled in to a wonderful life style. We were like two peas in a pod. We started Rodeoing together again and won everything we entered! The National Standings came out and we were rated number four team in the Nation.

We were surprised! We decided to get some help around the place and go on the circuit. I bought us a huge GMC Motor Coach and a four horse trailer. The Motor Coach was so large and luxurious compared to the small Cab over Camper on my Uncle’s truck that we always had room for a hand full of other Cowboy’s needing a ride to the next Rodeo. We had a great time those years and made many life long friends that we still get visits from today.

It was the last year I roped with Madison. He was getting old and so was Dolly. Besides, I gave Dolly to Ben on the way to Tucson. You would have thought I bought him the Taj Mahal and gave it to him. He loved Dolly and she love him. One time, she got sick and wasn’t doing too well. We feared the worst! Ben cancelled every meeting and flew with Tim directly in his private jet to Tucson to be with her. She was so glad to see Ben she rallied and lived another two years. He continued to spoil her.

She knew when he was coming to visit. She was clairvoyant! She would run up to the fence and stamp her feet in frustration, “Why isn’t he here! I know he’s coming!” Ben could never surprise Dan and I.

We’d pick up the phone and ask him when he’d be here. Ben would laugh and ask how we knew he was coming. “Dolly told us! She’s out there having a fit! She know’s you’re on your way!” I don’t think he believed us. Mrs. Russell backed us up.

“It’s true Ben! For the longest time we couldn’t figure out why all of a sudden she’d get a bur under her blanket but it was always before you were suppose to arrive. We put two and two together and it would happen every time!” He just shook his head as he fed her a second Apple or carrot.

We toured the Rodeo Circuit four years and won the National Finals three years in a row. We lost the fourth year but were still number two in the Nation.

Who did we lose to? You guessed it! Them two old Farts from Mason! Billy Gunn Senior and Joe Potter! They had followed their dream of one day going on the Rodeo Circuit and damned it they didn’t win the whole pie.

We retired from Rodeoing for about three years and then made one more Circuit and won the National Finals again. Dad and Uncle Joe had hung up their spurs by that time. Dad was getting older and so was Uncle Joe. They still did the local Rodeos but didn’t venture far from home.

Dan and I had been together eleven years at that time and I received word through my Dad that Red’s Brother was ill and was asking for me. He wasn’t expected to live and could he give Griz our phone number. I told him sure!

Griz called in tears. Would I come be with him as he had no one. Dan and I, my Dad and Uncle Joe, drove to Houston to be with him. We had seen Red and Griz only twice in eleven years after Booger’s funeral. He and Griz came and stayed a week with Dan and I. When we Rodeoed in Houston we stayed several days with them.

Red looked bad. He was dying. None of his Kids were there with him. They had parted ways years ago and just didn’t care even though Red had amassed a fair amount of money. He was alone with only Griz to care for him. I gave Griz a hand and relieved him to get some much needed rest. Hell, we all pitched in to help.

He was so glad to see us and especially my Dad and Uncle Joe. He had become big friends with them. Dad thought Griz was a wonderful oddity. He admired the big Man and also was drawn to him like a protective Father. Griz was thrilled that my Dad had come. My Dad had become the Dad that Griz never had in his life and Griz loved him dearly! He cried and cried in my Dad’s arms. My Dad, God love him, did his best to comfort the Big Man!

Red asked if he could speak to me alone. Everyone left and I sat in a chair next to the bed holding his hand.

“How is it Master Red that we share bad times with each other? Granted we’ve shared a few good ones but it seems like we share sorrow together. I don’t like to see you like this, Master!” He laughed with me.

“Seems that way, don’t it, Son? But I need you right now and I need you to do something for me.”

“Anything, Master! You know that!” I should have heard what he wanted first.

“I’m leaving you everything I own, Cowboy! No! Hush.....let me explain! I’ve taken care of everything all these years and Griz has no idea how to handle money or even buy for himself.”

“I’m leaving him, as a slave, to you and Dan Yates! Before you bolt from the room consider.......he’ll work his ass off for you. You just have to feed him and appreciate him. Much like you would a good pet or a prized piece of livestock.”

“Besides, he only truly loves one person on this Earth other than me and that’s ‘the Cowboy’! He can’t talk about any one else but you. He fell in love with you that time you and Booger stayed and he’s never given up hope of being with you.”

“Hand me that scrap book right there!” I handed Red a book of clippings about four or five inches thick. He opened it and each newspaper, PRC clipping, Rodeo News clippings, were neatly dated and pasted in this huge book. They were all of me and Dan Yates and our Rodeo winnings for over the five years we rode the Circuit! I couldn’t believe it! Griz had done all this?

There was another of smaller size of Dad and Uncle Joe’s wins from their year on the Circuit.

“He knows he can’t be your Master so he is more than willing to become your and Dan’s slave! I’m leaving you over a million dollars in cash and properties. That should feed him for some time. If you can wean him from you and Dan and he wants to go out on his own then I know you’ll be fair with him and give him money to go on!”

“Please do this for me, Cowboy! Talk it over with Dan and get back to me but he can’t be out there by himself. He don’t know how to live alone. He would get angry and kill a Man with one blow and end up spending the rest of his life in prison. I can’t die and rest thinking he will be out there without control. You and Dan will give him that control I know. He will obey you and Dan. He loves the both of you.”

“He loves that Dad of your’s so much, one word from him will have Griz shaped up in no time. He worships the ground your Dad walks on as gold! Can’t say’s I blame him! I’m pretty fond of your Old Man and Uncle Joe as well. They’ve been damn good friends to me an Griz all these years!”

“I won’t say no, Master Red but you have to realize that I have to talk it over with my Master! If fact he should be in here now hearing this. If I get him will you ask him pretending that it was the first time you told me too!”

“I see where you’re coming from, Son! Yes, certainly! We talked about other things and now it’s time to call him in and ask the two of you together. Go get him, Son!”

I went to the door and called Dan into the room. Red was skillful in his approach to the subject to give Dan the idea that this was the first either of us had heard about it. Dan seemed more acceptable to the idea than I thought he would be.

“Shit, Red! I’ve always been fond of Griz and I can understand your frustration. He does seem a bit childlike from time to time. We’ll be happy to accept Griz into our Family. If he wants to go out on his own we have plenty to share with him to get him set up some place especially with the money you leave Cowboy! We can always use an extra hand at the Ranch! I’ve seen him eat but we have Mrs. Russell that will adopt him as a second, Son! A BIG, second Son!”

So it happened. Red passed away and Griz almost went crazy with grief.
Someone had to be with him ‘round the clock, he went into such deep depression. I began to nurse him back to health by not letting him sit home and feel sorry for himself. I would get him up and out of the house to go.

I didn’t care where we went but we went. We went to movies! We went to wrestling matches! We went to the Circus! We went to Baseball Games! We went to Rodeos! We went to Football Games! We went to Ice Shows! We went to High School Musicals! More stuff than Griz had ever been to in his life. Everywhere we went people would stare at the Giant Hairy Man with the ring through his nose.

I invented things for us to go and do! Just to keep his mind busy and away from thinking about his dead Master and grieving his big heart out! All the while I was slowly getting Red’s affairs in order. But I never left Griz alone. I told him he could go voluntary or I would hook his nose leash back and make him go.

He knew I would, too! He was like any large Animal in pain. He knew when someone was trying to help him. He was angry but loved me for doing it. It finally made sense to him what I was doing and he gave in, willingly. Then he opened up to me and let me in. He let the flood of his waters of life flow into me. He started wanting to live again for me and Dan!

Dan, Dad and Uncle Joe returned to Mason and Tucson and I stayed with Griz to wrap things up. I had to remain there for over a Month. Dan flew into Houston from Tucson one weekend to be with us. When he saw what I was up against with Property and Griz he went back knowing that all was well and we’d come as soon as I got things settled.

Red’s attorney was slick and had Red make a living trust to me before he passed. All I had to do was sign my name on all bank accounts and properties and they were essentially mine. Well, mine and Griz’s! I wasn’t gonna’ take from the Man what was his whether his Master had left it directly to him or not!

We put all four properties on the market and listed with a realtor. We called a moving van and took what personal property Griz wanted and anything I wanted and shipped it to Tucson. We spent the last night in the Pueblo Style home in Houston and Griz wanted to know if he could pleasure me. It was the first time since his Master died that he had even expressed the slightest interest.

“Griz, I’ll be honest with you! I haven’t been with another Man since I’ve been with Master Dan. However, since you’re his slave as well as mine now, I don’t think it inappropriate if we called him and ask his permission. If he says no, then I can’t! Neither can you! We might jack off together but we can’t be together. You know what I mean!”

“Yes Cowboy! Will you call him?”
“Sure Griz!”
I rarely called Dan ‘Master’ but he knew what it meant and was thrilled when I did. Now was a time I needed him to be a Master. I dialed his number and he answered the phone.
“Good evening, Master Dan! This is your number one slave calling from Houston!” We both laughed. He knew what I was up to immediately.

“And how is my number one slave?”

“Both slaves are fine and leaving tomorrow for Tucson to be with you! We’ve rapped everything up here. Sent most of the personal and household items on. We left one bed for us tonight and anyone who wants it. The rest is on the truck.”

“What we don’t want we can sell or give away. Any way, we’re leaving early in the morning and should be in Tucson by day after tomorrow sometime. We kept Red’s Motor home to drive and it may be a bit slower than a truck but if’n we’re gonna’ be late we’ll call. We also might get talked into staying a night in Mason! Either way, we’ll call so’s you won’t worry!”

“I’d appreciate that, Son, but why do I get the feeling that isn’t the only reason you called, Cowboy!” He chuckled on the other end.

“Yes Sir! You’re so right but for that your other slave would like to talk to you!”

“No! You ask him, Billy!” Whispered Griz.

“No, Griz! You have to learn how to ask our Master for what you want!” I handed him the phone.

“Uuhh, Master Dan, Sir?” The big Man asked hesitatingly.

“Yes Griz?! What j’u have on your mind, Son?”

“Would it be alright with you, Master, if your second slave pleasures your first slave!” I heard Dan Yates laughter on the phone from three feet away.

“Will you pleasure him good, slave?”

“Oh yes, Sir! I love Cowboy, Sir! I’ll be real good to him Master!”

“You promise not to hurt him?!” Dan was still chuckling having a good time with Griz’s naivete’.

“Oh no, Sir, Master Dan! I wouldn’t never hurt my Bear-Cub Master! I love him too much for that! I just want to give him some love, Master Dan, and to be honest, Sir, I think I need a little too!” I heard Dan roar with laughter. I think that he was pleased and somewhat relieved that Griz was coming around from the terrible depression he’d been in.

“Then it’s alright with me, Big Bear, if’n it’s alright with him. But only if it’s alright with him! Understand!”

“Oh, yes Sir! I understand, Sir! Thank you! Oh, thank you, Master Dan! Here’s Cowboy!” Dan was still laughing his ass off.

“You know it would have been alright with me but I appreciate y’all calling for my permission! Makes me feel like a real Master and it’s thoughtful to consider my feelings! Makes me feel needed.”

“You are a real Master, Dad, and you know it! How many Men have two devoted slaves? If’n anyone deserves to be called Master, it’s you!”

“Well, we’re gonna’ have to see to some of his needs and I guess that’s one of them. Poor thing probably hasn’t had much lovin’ since Red got sick. Hell, even a Pet needs some lovin’ every now and then! Is it alright with you, Son?”

“Yeah, Dad! Griz treats me fine. He’s always been good to me. I love him too, Master. We’ll see you in a couple of days!”

“I love you, Dad!”

“Love you too, Son!”

That night I made a pack with Griz. When we played by ourselves and I gave him permission he could be my Master but when I snapped my fingers and pointed to my boots, he was to know that I was again his Master and he would pay homage to them! No questions asked!! It worked out fine for both of us.

Griz fed me more Man milk that night and I slept the most peaceful since the last time he fed me. His tit milk alone was worth owning him for! Dan had trouble sleeping sometime and I told him about Griz’s Man milk.

He was hesitant at first but one night we were staying the night with Griz in his Den and I urged Dan to try some. He did, liked it and slept like a baby. As time passed if he couldn’t sleep he’d call Griz into the house or go to him and suck him dry. Come back to bed and sleep like a baby! Sometime he wouldn’t even make it back to the house. He’d pass out laying in the Giants arms. I’d pad out to the Den, not to be alone, and Dan would wake up between the two of us.

Our Master agreed! Bear milk, alone, was worth caring for him!

You couldn’t help but love the big son of a bitch. He was like a child.
Everything in the World was new and wonderful to him. He had never been around horses and I taught him to ‘whisper’ to them to make friends.

He got better than me at it and developed a natural affinity for them. He loved horses! He was too big to ride any we had so Ben bought him a Shophshire horse. Sometime better known as a Shire. It’s a relative of the Clydesdales or Draft horses. It was a Mare. A Bay with white socks. A beautiful horse of the finest breeding.

She was huge and he rode bare back everywhere on that big horse. He loved her and she loved him. She would ride him and if you watched carefully, she would step so as not to throw him off her back. She loved him and didn’t want him falling off and hurting himself. They became inseparable. She would follow him all over the ranch with her big head hanging over his shoulder everywhere he went. Of course he spoiled her! We all did!

He named her ‘Wilma’ ‘cause he liked Phil and Wilma Jo so much. Wilma Jo always had a brownie or a fist full of cookies to sneak him behind our backs. The least bit of attention won the big ugly Man’s heart. Wilma Jo, Phil and the Kids would come visit at the Ranch. Wilma Jo was thrilled that Griz had named his horse after her! “Well, I can understand why he would! She’s the prettiest horse on the Ranch!” Then she’d just giggle.

‘Wilma’ became the pet of the Ranch. Not only did she love Griz, she was great with Kids or first time horse riders that didn’t know how or what to do. She read their minds and just took them where they wanted to go. She was a love and everyone ended up spoiling her. She was so gentle even Mrs. Russell would get on ‘Wilma’ and ride for a while.

Griz could do the work of three Men but he could also eat the food of three Men. As predicted, Mrs. Russell fell in love with him and loved cooking for the big Man. She wouldn’t let anyone joke about the amount of food he put away. He was big and he needed it! He never gained an ounce of excess weight. But then he worked his ass off too. When Red had told me that he would work for us, he wasn’t kidding. He did the work of three hands. He came to love Ranch work.

When Mrs. Russell cooked for Thanksgiving or Christmas she would have to prepare two Turkeys, two hams, and triple the proportions of all the food. He loved the Holidays and never asked for a thing. Dan and I both adopted him as a big Son! He was also eager to pleasure us. Dan would allow him to suck him off sometime and sometime I would spend an evening with him.

He became an integral part of our immediate Family and we took him with us most every where we went. Dan and I laughed that we never felt safer than when Griz was with us. He bonded with the both of us and we couldn’t have beaten him off with a stick!

Come Christmas or his Birthday, Dan and I would worry for days what we were going to get Griz. He had everything he wanted. He only had to mention he’d like something and either one of us would get it for him. Sometime we ended up getting two. He had never been treated with kindness and he was always overwhelmed.

He ask me if I would ask Dan if he could have his ring removed. I told him absolutely not! I would not allow it! Forget about asking our Master. He was as much my slave as Dan’s! As long as he was, he would keep the ring!

He just smiled his little boyish smile. I think he was just testing my resolve and whether I meant what I had said about how much a turn on his ring was for me.

I talked to Dan and we did agree to have a smaller ring, same gage, replace the large one. We had it done and it actually looked sexier. It too, we had permanently welded in place. He couldn’t remove it!

He changed from being a Bear with a ring to a big Bull with a ring. At least I didn’t have to move it out of the way to kiss him and he could eat better. (As if he needed to!) Then too it didn’t get in the way when he sucked us off.

He recreated his Den in a loft room in Dan’s big barn. He didn’t have enough room in the upstairs room that had been Tim’s room. There was two enormous upstairs storage rooms in the barn with full bath and shower off one. It was to be an apartment for a Farm hand or Stable Master originally but Ben and Buck had never used it. It had operable sky lights and was really neat. I had only been in there once before Griz discovered it. It only had bits and pieces of old furniture and junk.

We got rid of the junk and he picked and chose from the furniture we brought from his home with Red. It was comforting to him to have the stuff around him and helped ease his grief. He fixed it up to be his new Den and it was a trip to spend time in there with him. You’d swear that a real Bear lived there. And so they did!

In some ways he became the reason that Dan and my relationship never got stale. I grew to love and appreciate Dan more each year. Our bond was solid. We never talked about it much, we just knew!

We never thought much about Master/slave and I only performed the ritual for both our amusement and turn on when the Family came to visit. Sometimes I would perform the ritual then snap my fingers at Griz to do the same! It always turned him on and Griz and I knew we would have a great sex session with him.

He was thrilled to have both me and Griz show him homage. Our Family was impressed. He was one of the only Family members that owned two slaves. Especially two devoted slaves that got along as well as Griz and I did!

They marveled at our relationship and Griz took the lead from me to give him all the credit. He was a strong, disciplined, demanding, no nonsense Master that made both his slaves tow the line! Dan knew what we were doing and beamed at us with pride, not only because he knew in his heart we were devoted to him but that we would go out of our way to play this game for our Family’s sake to honor him!

Nothing could have been further from the truth (or could it?) but Dan ate it up, went along with our nonsense, and our Family was never the wiser. Years later Griz and I talked about Dan one night and decided that he didn’t have to be all those things. We were both sincere in our love for him as our Master.

He was a good Man that just demanded respect and all the goodness you could bring to a life with him! Dan was thoughtful, caring, kind, considerate and spoiled the two of us shamelessly! However, he demanded our best in all things and we tried hard to never fail him! Griz and I would have taken out any Man that raised a hand to him in anger!

Our Ranch was a great get away spot for the Californians and an inbetween place for the Texans. Some time they would all meet together and we had some wonderful times. Even the Twisslemans came and visited several times for a week at a time. We would have one Hell of a Rodeo! Some folks said it was bigger’n better than the regular Tucson Rodeo. Hell of a lot better talent! When word got around Tucson that there was a Rodeo that weekend at the “Broken Arrow” Ranch, ten miles due south of town, half the town shut down and Rodeo people came from four states.

Little Sister got married and we all went to her wedding. Her first born was a boy she named Rowley William Birdsong for the two Men she loved most in her life. He was a handful! He was called Rowley-Bill from birth. He was a Cowboy from his first breath. His Uncle Billy taught him to rope and ride by the age of five years old. He grew up to be a carbon copy of his Uncle Rowley down to way he swaggered when he walked in his boots. His last name may have been ‘Birdsong’ but he was a Twissleman, through and through!

By the time he was in Jr. High school he had won every Jr. Championship Rodeo there was in the area. He had Betty Bob’s sense of wonder and the gentle, kind loving spirit of his namesake Uncle Rowley! He and his brother and two sisters spent several summers with us while Mr. and Mrs. Birdsong traveled Europe as the guest of the Sultan of Bahrain, and we had a ball with them.

Griz was wonderful with kids and they would climb all over him. We never had to worry when Griz was in Cub patrol mode. We’d sometime lose track of one or more of them but we didn’t worry ‘cause yonder’d come griz with one under each big arm carrying ‘em like sacks of flour, them giggling and yelling at him the whole time. Nothing would happen to those Kids!

Griz got letters from those Kids for years. Still does. They send us pictures of their Kids and bring them to the Ranch to crawl all over Griz. He loves it! Never seen such a big Man be so gentle with Kids in my life. He forever has two or three climbing all over him at any given time. He communicates with them because no one ever told the little child inside Griz to grow up. I thank God every day no one ever did!

Mrs. Russell adopted them as her Grand Kids and has pictures of them all over her trailer.

Lester passed away a year or so after Bro. Red did. It was a big shock to my Family. Again our small town closed down for his funeral. Even Ben, Tim and Keashan, flew in from Arabia for Lester’s funeral. There was no greater mourner there than Ben. He had become attached to Lester over the years and talked to him regularly on the phone.

Lester left his Sister quite a bit of his personal holdings but surprised everyone by leaving most of it to our small Church. I can’t go fishing today that I don’t look over next to me to see if my old Fishin’ Buddy might be sitting there holding an old cane pole!

Dan and I were together twenty six years and he passed away in his sleep next to me of a heart attack. It was November first! He left me Halloween eve! I got up to get us a cup of coffee like I’d done for twenty six years. I came back to wake him and he wouldn’t move.

I felt him and he was cold! My own heart stopped beating for a minute. I didn’t even get to say goodbye to the Man I spent the better portion of my adult life with and loved so dearly. But I thank God that he just took him and he didn’t have a prolonged illness and suffer. I know my ‘Celestial Cowboys’ came to get him. I know that Buck finally got to spend the night in the arms of his beloved Dad! I wrote the following poem in memory of my beloved Dan Yates!

ELEGY

Autumn came too quickly for this year to end,
Its colors bounced around from red to brown,
Fallen leaves, Old Saints, and wind-chimes spoke,
Of cold chilled winds to make our bodies shiver-dance.

Cold dry air that tastes of paste and cardboard,
Laughter and the broken sounds of trick or treaters,
Small Generals huddled close together mapping plans,
Under dim street lamps that swirl in iced-breath fog.

Our small lean town has geared to pumpkin colors,
Witches hats so black the night has competition,
Ghoulish goblins rubber faces loosely fitting,
Tiny skeletons that thump the porch to ring the bell.

The sun and moon have time-stepped through the sky,
A year of ballroom dance this hallowed eve.
This night you hailed the boatman on the Styx,
Alone, fare paid, he carried you away into the dawn.

The click of automated coffee awoke me from my sleep,
To morning habits committed to our hearts so long ago,
The dinosaurs of well established life enduring scenes,
I tried to wake you, but you would not move.

Was this a Trick the season played on me?
Had Medusa turned you cold with one swift glance?
What anguish had my heart toward the Gods?
I would have gladly paid their greatest Treat!

The Beasties sing of life's on-going healing time,
(What passes slower than the time of age,
When left as one within a winter's world?)
But can the Ghoulies chant me songs to ease my pain?

I had lost a lot of loved ones over the years but losing Dan did something to me that I never got back.

Griz helped, God love him! My Dad and Uncle Joe helped. Mrs. Russell was a love and Ben flew from Saudi Arabia for his funeral. He had become the Sultan of Bahrain after his Dad died.

It was the biggest funeral in Tucson history. I buried him by his Son and instructed Griz I wanted to be buried right along side of them. He wanted to know if he could too! I told him of course he could!

So, I became Griz’s Master. I thank God every day for the Big Man. I’ve made him take more and more responsibility for our lives in case something should happen to me before him. He developed quite a bit of personal wisdom over the years and wouldn’t let me sit and grieve myself into depression over Dan’s passing. He made me do the same damn thing I made him do. We went and did!

Our Family adopted Griz and inducted him into the Family with a formal Slave induction ceremony. I think it was at that time that Griz gave up the idea of him ever becoming a full time Master. He knew he was better off being a slave. My slave! He loves me so much he’d never consider being anything but my slave. I would never consent to being another Man’s Master but Griz’s!

Doesn’t matter! I will be Griz’s Master until one of us passes! My Family laughs and jokes with us! Big Beryl and Blaine tell me they always knew under my willingness to please beat the heart of a true Master! Maybe so, I don’t know! All I know is I’ll protect my huge Beast with my dying breath. To be his Master is, in essence, to be his slave! I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Griz’s consolation? He knew he could become Master to his ‘Cowboy’ when we were alone and he loved it; however, he has never once failed to switch back to his slave role when we finished our play and I snapped my fingers.

He’s on my boots in a second. I know it sounds weird! I’m Master of our lives! I’m Captain of the Ship! But when we walk into that Den and close the door behind us, I’m on my knees in front of my Bear Master sucking those Big Boots for all I’m worth! As long as we’re in his Den I’m his Bear Cub and he’s my Bear Master! Works for us!

Griz has always walked a step behind me, catered to me like a proper slave should to his Master, paid homage to my boots, and has never once embarrassed me by refusing an order.

Course, I don’t have to order him to do too much as he reads my mind most of the time! Then too, I never try to humiliate Griz as a slave. I would never ask him to do something I might find uncomfortable if I were in his position.

The lines between Master and slave have not blurred over the years. I won’t let them! Griz needs control! He always has and he probably always will! I’m still his undisputed Master and he never fails to introduce me as his Master! I always introduce him as “my slave”!

However, in the Den, I pay homage to his big boots and let him call me his Bear-Cub. I’m no fool, I always get a better fucking that way!

I asked Griz one time if he felt bad that he’d spent his life as a slave and probably would die a slave to someone. He mused for a minute and said, “I got what I wanted out of life, Master Billy! I don’t need no more!”

“What’s that, Griz?”

“You, Master Billy!” The big Ox made me cry. I know he did it just for an excuse to hold me! Well, it worked! Best fucking he ever gave me too!

Over the years Dan got to where he liked to get a piece of Big Bear Butt every now and then. I don’t think Bro. Red had ever used Griz’s ass. Not at all according to Griz so he had to learn to please his new Master’s in that area.

I taught him how to clean himself before each session in case one of his Master’s might want to use him that way.

At first he was reticent but after Dan fucked him really good several times Griz couldn’t get enough. I would also enjoy fucking that big furry Butt sometime and would take back my Master status with the snap of my fingers. He has never once failed to hit the position for my pleasure. Many nights Dan would fuck him and I’d get horny for a piece of Bear Butt. I’d climb on Griz and Dan would mount me from behind. I could get all three of us off if’n I put my mind to it!

We would sometimes sandwich Griz in between the two of us and each end up hooked to a tit sucking him dry. The Big Man would be in heaven as he would gently lock each of our heads onto him with his huge paws. We would both sleep the dreams of angels in his big protective arms. Each of us with an arm thrown over his massive chest. Griz couldn’t have been happier having two Master’s that loved him.

The only time I ever used the whip in punishment on Griz was when he thought he would do Dan and me a favor by clipping the fur from around his ass hole so’s we could have better access. It was a thoughtful gesture to be sure but he had failed to ask our permission! He never failed to ask about such things again!

However, he did beg many times for me to use the whip on him again. It became a treat if he had been very, very good and worked hard for it! The big Man would come every time and Dan and I could barely contain ourselves. Then we would make love to him, hold him all night and tell him what a fine Man and good slave he was! He couldn’t do enough for us for the next several days!

I still won’t let him remove his ring. He brings it up about once a year to test my resolve. I just raise my hand and tell him don’t even go there! You’re not having the ring removed! End of discussion! You’re my slave and you will have the ring as long as you’re my slave! Since I have no plans to give you away nor sell you then you’re stuck with ‘Cowboy’ AND the ring!

He just smiles that little boy smile of his and says, “O.K., Master Billy! I’m proud you’re my Master, Sir! I love you, Cowboy!”

He doesn’t really want it removed, he admitted to me one night as he was cuddling me in his huge arms. He just wants to know I still love him like he is!

I do love him! What’s not to love? There certainly is enough there to love. But you know what? I swear to you that as Griz has gotten older he’s gotten better looking! No! No! It’s true! If I was the only one to notice I would think it’s just ‘cause I love the big fellow! But others have commented on it too! Occasionally a total stranger will meet him and say to me, “What a good looking Man! He must be a fine slave for you!” I will agree and Griz will just beam for hours.

We still live on the ranch. We live pretty much in the Bear’s Den. We keep up the Big House and keep it open as a guest house for our many visitors. We have and open door policy. Don’t bother calling, just come ...... We get visitors from all over the World. Once in a while Ben will send us someone that needs an anonymous vacation. To be treated like Family instead of Royalty. They are always welcome and provided for. Mrs. Russell has become an international Embassador for Tucson. That Woman could make God feel at home!

We get ‘thank you’ letter from Rock Stars, Heads of State, Kings and Queens, Princesses and Princes, that come, let their hair down at the ranch and are never bothered unless they want to participate in what ever activities we happen to have going.

Most times we have a Rodeo right there at the ranch. Young ropers from all over the Southwest come to compete and get first hand tips from Champion Roper Billy Gunn Jr. No one is turned away!

My beloved Dad passed away last year. He and Uncle Joe had sold the Garage and had enough money saved plus I had given them money over the years they could go and do anything they wanted! They spent a lot of time with Dan, Griz and I over the last twenty years.

They had gone to Arabia twice and stayed a month each time with Ben and Tim as Ben’s personal household guests. Dan, Griz and I had been many times for casual visits and official functions that all the members of the Family had to be there. We would always run into Steve and Cal. Cal was a knockout in a Tux!

Uncle Joe damn near went crazy after Dad died and I finally talked him into coming to live with us. He sold both houses and we put him a double wide trailer next to Mrs. Russell’s. They’re neighbors now and get along great.

He met an older Cowboy that he has been seeing and we all hope it may blossom into to something for the two of them.

We still get back to Mason every year for the Annual Booger Red Rodeo. Most folks don’t even know who Booger Red was now days but it doesn’t matter. We do! I still go out and clean his grave. Don’t need to! Phil and Wilma Jo go out couple times a years and clean several.

Red still makes me cry when I go out there. I guess he still wants to know I love him. I do! Always will!

Master Walker told me he would see to Red’s headstone and he did. I hadn’t been back for a while but when I read the epitaph carved into Red’s headstone it made me smile: “Here lies a Magnificent Beast, Cowboy told him so!”
