My name is Denise and I struggled for a long time gender idenity disorder. I been wanting to change my sex but didn't have the money to get it done but as a second option I was thinking of getting castration but because I just got a divorce and it cost me a ton of money to get a lawyer I again found myself short on cash. One day there was a person came into the transgender chat room and talked about a farm device used to castrate animals and said he used it with satisfactory results. So I went on the web and found the device called an Elastrator and for around $30 with rings ordered it and had it sent to my home. After a period of about a week and a half I got the Elastrator and it took me about a month to get up the nerve to use it. I pulled the testicals up with a nylon cord because after 5 years of estrogen my scrotum and testes became very small, and I got the device with the ring over them and released the pain and quite frankly there was some real pain like I was kicked in the groin and I had spasms of pain go up into my stomach but after about 3 or 4 hours it kind of went away. Over the course of the next few weeks I had minor discomfort and took some generic pain pills. The scrotum dried up along with the testicals and the tissue became very hard I would say something like beef jerky. LOL
I wait 3 week which it said in the booklet in 2 to 3 weeks the testicals can either fall off over be cut off so I got some scissors out and started cutting the tissue away until I got to the elastic band which popped off once the rest of the stuff was cut away. There were a few drops of blood coming out so I put a 2 x 2 gauze pad over the area and layed down on the bed for awhile. I woke up a few hours later and found the pad was full of blood so I ran into the bathroom and looked in the mirror and much to my horror found about a 1-1/4" hole in my groin and could see up inside me. I had some blood running down both sides of my leg and was freaked out and got dressed and drove to the nearest hospital. The ER doc asked what I did so I explained things and he examined me and said all I can do is put a gauze packing in you, give you an IV of antibotic and give you the number for an urologist to call because we have none on staff here. I figured this might take several days and wasn't willing to wait so I called my family doctor's emergency number and when he called back I explained what I did and he told me to go straight to the hospital he works out of and get admitted. I did as he said and went thru the ER and put up in a room for about 4 days. My doctor requested the staff urologist take a look at me while I was there but he never showed up. He had the wound care specialist examine me and he came up gave me a casual glance "about 2 minutes worth" and left without saying a word. I was discharged again packed up with gauze and went home with a follow up appointment with my family doctor the next day. I went to the appointment and he examined me in the stirrups just like he would when give a female a pelvic and said "I never have seen or treated such a wound as you have and I'm a bit stumped as how to treat it? He said the hospital urologist refused to take care for you and so did the wound care specialist, so my only option might be to contact a surgeon to look at you? He said at the moment there doesn't seem to be an infection but if an infection would set in and get bad enough that I could possibly die? Great news huh? I'm not sure what is going to happen from here? But I'm a bit frightened about the whole thing.
