Shortly after the privatization of public schools tuition was instituted. The tuition quickly became unaffordable for most families. In exchange for lowered or free tuition, the corporations in charge of the schools would perform experiments on students. Nine hundred, eleven-year-old boys have just been gathered to find if there is any correlation between prepubescent testicular development and intelligence. The group consists of three hundred boys with an I.Q. over 130, three hundred boys with an I.Q. below 80, and three hundred randomly selected boys for the control group.
On the experiment date, the boys are brought to a large medical building. The three groups are separated and led into waiting rooms. From here the boys are put into groups of ten and led to smaller rooms were they are told to strip and lay on tables with their legs spread and feet placed in stirrups. Warm air blows up between the childrens legs causing their scrotums to relax. People in white lab coats take pictures of and swab iodine on the boys genitals. The warm air turns off. The lab technicians pull what look like supermarket price tag guns with loops in the end out of a supply cabinet. The technicians slip the boys testicles through the loops and pull the trigger. A ¾ inch plastic band with a ridge going a round the middle is left around the base of their scrotums, just tight enough so the testis cant slip up above it. The groups of ten are told to get up, and are led into another room. The room is about 10 feet wide and 40 feet long. Running along the center of the room is what looks like a metal sawhorse with a track on the top. At the end nearest the boys are small platforms sticking out from under the machine on either side. The first boy is told to step onto the platforms and his feet are strapped in. Directly in front of him is a piece of metal that looks like a shoehorn with a plastic half circle at the end. He is lowered so that his penis rests on the shoehorn looking piece of metal and the ridge in his plastic band fits inside of the plastic half circle. The lab technician pulls up a metal arm behind the boy. The arm has the other half of the plastic half circle, which fits together and does a half turn to lock into place. There are also hand restraints at the top of the arm and the boys hands are locked into place behind him. The first boy is moved forward along the track and the others are clipped in behind him, each boy takes up 2 feet. Once everyone is locked in, the boys are slid along the track to the other half. Warm air blows up between their legs. The bands around their scrotums begin to shrink. As this happens, the plastic collar that is holding the band in place turns, tightening along with it. The warm air stops and a lab tech sets a small cooler next to the machine. Blades slide forward, up to the bands, and then snap forward. The boys testicles drop into plastic bags, which are vacuum-sealed by the machine. A lab tech removes the bags, sticks labels on them and puts them in the cooler. The boys are still in shock as they are released from the machine and led back to the room with the tables. They are laid down, with their legs spread, and the feet in stirrups. A chemical cauterizing agent is sprayed on the wounds and the band is cut off. After checking for bleeding a bandage is put on the wound. The boys are then dressed and led out to a bus.
